Hi Guys, Something weird. My buttons on my remotelinc are part of scenes. Now, the ones that are part of a switchlinc scene only work when I hold the button down - light fades up and down. But when I just click it once, the light doesn't just come on or go off. The ones associated with an ICON switch don't work at all. Any ideas?

Lee.. I am going to try the reset and restore thing first. I have never done either of those so is there a link in this forum you have handy to run me through that process? thanks for the help!

Thanks Lee... Just trying to trace causal factors.... Someone had put non-dimmable CFL bulbs in that light and used it a few times before I noticed it and removed them. Could this have messed up the Switchlinc?

Hi Guys, I am having trouble with just one Switchlinc not communicating with the ISY. I have removed power from the switch and reconnected but that didn't help. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks guys,,,, It seems to be working now. It looks like it just needed to do the maintenance or query in the middle of the night because it worked the next day.

It is the button I have in the Island scene.it is strictly a controller of the island light.

The scene has 2 ICON switches (3-way), KPL Button, a Remotelinc Button, and now a motion sensor. All controllers.

I have added my new MS to the lighting scene which contains the kitchen light and the KPL button. Shouldnt the KPL light follow the light when the MS sent the on signal and off when the off signal was sent? thanks!

Ok...after doing some testing and analysing, I fiqured out the problem (mostly me not paying attention). Hopefully this will help somebody else. Using the paddle and watching the Admin Console, the KPL came on with the light and went off when the TIMER shut the load off. My problem was in my programming. I have a garage door kit connected to my garage door. I have a program that turns the timer relay on when the garage door goes up and turns it off 5 minutes later. THIS is when the KPL did not shut off. Well...in the program, I selected only the LOAD to turn on and not the scene (which contains the KPL). I have now changed it. Sorry to waste your time Lee...but we at least now know that the timer shuts off the KPL when using the paddle.

Thanks Lee... The KPL light does respond normally when the paddle is used. I suppose I could solve it programatically. Something like if the status of the light is on...turn the KPL light on?

It is a switchlinc timer relay 40 The scene contains the timer as a controller and the KPL button as a controller.

Here is something I have didnt notice before. I have a timer switch for the garage lights. After 15 minutes it turns itself off. I have a KPL for it in the same scene. Why doesnt the KPL light go off as well? Do I need to do this through a program? Thanks!

Thanks Lee.... Let me follow up because I realized this one is a little different. This is a 3-way light with ICON switches. The 3 nodes I have for this is: ICON 1, ICON 2, and Island KPL. Can I select either switch to put into the status condition? Or do I have to put one line for each? Thanks!

Hi guys, Here is the program I have to light up the kitchen when the door to the garage is opened. My question is: if I added a line to the condition "if the light already on or > than a some value", could I prevent the program from running if light was already on? My purpose is to prevent the 15 minute wait clock from starting and then turning the light off if someone was previously using it (turned it on at the switch for task lighting). If From Sunset To Sunrise (next day) And Control 'Triggerlinc' is switched On Then Set Scene 'Island' On Wait 15 minutes Set Scene 'Island' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Thanks very much...That makes sense....I will try it. My thinking was that if someone had it turned on 100% for task lighting at the paddle, I didnt want to change that because the scene is set to 50%. So that is why I had a status condition of "off".

Ok below is my program If From Sunset To 8:30:00PM (same day) And Status 'Under Cabinet' is Off Then Set Scene 'Under Cabinet' On Else Set Scene 'Under Cabinet' Off What is interesting is the switch is a switchlinc. The switch and the light are cycling between about 10% and 30%. Any ideas? Thanks!

Wow...Thanks! I guess the part I missed was that the scene has its own level. I notice now that when I click on the Switchlinc or the KPL in the scene, they have a seperate on level.

oberkc... Sorry I missed those questions. All of my set levels are 100%. Because when I select it on by the switch, I want it to go to 100%. But in this program for "evening", I only want it to come on to 50%. Lee...The Switchlinc is the load controller. And I do have the other 2 (KPL and RL) buttons set as controllers as well. Additional questions.... 1) I was using "adjust scene" because I wanted the entire scene to turn on..namely the KPL button light to come on during the time the under cabinet lights are on AND set it to 50%. Why is that not correct? 2) How do I make sure the KPL button shows the light is on if this is not correct? Thanks!

Hi Guys, Huge ISY newbie here! I am wanting to do something simple but it is not turning out that way. Since i dont know how to cut and paste from the program screen, I will try to explain. I want the "under Cabinet" lights to come on at sunset to 50% and go off at 830pm. I have it set to "sunset to 830pm same day" (condition) set in scene "under cabinet" under cabinet to 50% They dont come on...What am I doing wrong? Thanks
