Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
If i had a say in it, I'd choose zwave. Its in testing so it's not like a large number will be affected by not being able to restore and it's more important to make sure both zwave and insteon both coexist properly on polisy before trying to swap.... especially since many use both zwave and insteon together. As testing expands, the restore function will matter more since more people would want to partake in testing knowing that both protocols were supported.

Honeywell T6 app or sensors
There wouldn't be an app for a zwave version since it would require a controller to work via an app. Honeywells website should be able to say whether there is a remote sensor. At it's price point I'd be surprised if there was

Devices Responding, But Light not going on
Did you even read the guide that comes with the switch? That information is in there. You can pull up the manual for the switch. It gives step by step instructions for what the wires stand for and where they go. Not trying to offend you but if it's hard to understand (wiring isn't for everyone), I would recommend getting an electrician. You can find the manuals on the product webpage under the manuals tab. https://www.smarthome.com/products/switchlinc-dimmer-insteon-2477d-remote-control-dimmer-dual-band-white

Devices Responding, But Light not going on
Does the switch wired to the light turn on when manually controlled? If the lights aren't turning on at all, the switch is bad, you have it wired incorrectly or the scene is setup incorrectly.

Adding new switches to electrical system (Insteon controlled)
Code requires this already. Wouldn't pass inspection if a permit job. Good advice if he's doing his own wiring though.

Adding new switches to electrical system (Insteon controlled)
I always recommend wiring for dummy switches and then automating. While more work initially, it'll be cheaper in the long run. Since you're already thinking about the future, the likelihood of you selling is greater. Whoever buys the house may not want an automation system. This will either cause a buyer to take off from the cost to get it fixed or cost you to get it fixed prior to selling. As hot as the market is right now, there's no guarantee of that in the future. Put the time and work in today as it'll be cheapest today

Release 5.3.3 Test Build - OUTDATED
It probably is. Popped in and disappeared just as quick.

Change device type in ISY?
True but he didn't say anything about his system. If he has the 300 board zwave he wouldn't be able to update to that.

Release 5.3.3 Test Build - OUTDATED
So simple yet no one ever does it.

Change device type in ISY?
Double post. I answered on your other post. You should delete this one

Change device type in ISY?
You must be on the 5.0 branch to be able to change the motion sensor parameters. Since you did not provide any information about your setup i would recommend that you update to 5.0.16c

Release 5.3.3 Test Build - OUTDATED
Instead of coming on here posting as you have, why not take a moment to actually read. Had you done so, you would've found it already. None of your attitude is needed, warranted, or desired. All the extra is there for a reason

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
The plms are still supported. They even have a new version in the works. With the current chip shortage, they have out making them on hold to focus on their primary devices. At this time, there is no timetable for their return. It may be possible to rebuild your PLM. There's a thread on here that discusses how.

Polisy Support
I wouldn't feel gypped if I were you. While I base my installs on what I can do today, I still keep an eye towards the future. Even if it's just a 1 room/situation install where I could potentially use a lesser system, I would still use the isy pro with zwave (keeping the discussion with insteon). Why? You never know what someone will want to add. Today they just want their Christmas lights or outside lights being controlled. Tomorrow, they the bedroom and living room. I'd rather have the infrastructure in place than nickel and dime someone trying to get extra stuff going for them. The same applies for Polisy. I don't need wifi. With Polisy being plugged into my network, it'll discover other devices on my network anyway. Sure, it would be nice to move it around to different locations (i think you can do that already), but it's easier and cheaper to buy a few more devices to get better range than try and find the ideal spot. THe same applies to Bluetooth. What would you realistically use it for? Yes, there are some use cases today but is it needed that much right now that it hurts not having it? In the future, that may change. I'd rather have the pro now and not use those features than get the cheaper version only to find i need to buy more parts to be able to use something later

This is what I'm looking forward to

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
Unfortunately no. The 2422-222 has a PLM built in and can be used separate from the insteon hub app. Not sure if the isy was ever updated to take advantage of that. I know the houselinc software could. Just don't know if UDI ever did anything with it. @Michel Kohanimwould be able to answer that if he knows anything about that capability

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
If you knew the company it wouldn't be strange. Even when support was based out of Irvine, there was still limited communication between the powers that be and those on the phone. Most information was found via relationships between co-workers than direct communication like it should've been.

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
Being in stock is an indication of sales (or lack thereof). Not them being produced while the 2413s isn't

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
The problem with the USB version is that it's the same as the serial version. Just a different connector. Once 2413u is gone it's gone

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
It will along with the rest of the devices. Just don't know a release date yet

Serial PLM discontinued according to smarthome
Its nothing directed personally towards UDI since the Isy isn't the only game in town. This would effect anything that requires a PLM. While the PLM isn't completely disco'd, being on hold the way it is comes from certain people making short term decisions assuming loyalty and the insteon brand goes farther than it really does. I don't think they've looked at the bigger picture. Whole their new line will be out soon, existing users won't flock to it due to mistrust in regards to long term support. Those looking to grow their systems will do the same. They fail to realize the space they're operating in is like a road to nowhere.... At some point, you'll get to the end. To many cheaper products already fill that road. Their system is a stepping stone that allows you to grow into something much more capable. Anything else, it's just an overpriced remote for lights. Hopefully they'll realize soon enough and produce more or at least release the new PLM before things get dicey. If it gets that far, i guess if have to get in the bandwagon myself and talk about how doomed they are

OTA Firmware Upgrade for AeoTec Multisensor 6 (and3)
The network heal wasnt and isn't the best way to manage a network which is part of the reason zwave alliance removed it. Since zwave is self healing, your devices will do it themselves. Its better to update a single problem device vs all together. Using update neighbors on a device that has problems communicating will update the path for that device.
