  1. Couple of items: In the PG3 Store when I click on the iTach IR hyperlink within the PG3 store to get more info on the Node server it takes me to the 'open sprinkler' repository After I install the Node server and go to configuration a message displays showing "Please set or check open sprinkler password and IP Address"
  2. My Node Servers in my Admin Console are operating correctly, I see the Node Server and its individual nodes and the values within those nodes in the Admin Console (no problems). However, when using UD Mobile, again I see the node server and its nodes in UD Mobile, however all the values within the nodes are blank. This is happening for all my Node servers. My z-wave and insteon devices show correctly in UD Mobile but not the node servers. Have rebooted POLISY and still occurs. Running UD Mobile on iOS.
  3. Does anyone know the voltage requirements for the POLISY? My current POLISY has a 5V 1A power supply, can the POLISY also be powered by the 12V 2A power supply that UDI sells for the 994i?
  4. To summarize advise I got from Michel: From Polisy Admin Console | Configuration tab | Upgrade Packages. Once you hear 4 beeps, reboot Polisy If that doesn’t fix it, SSH in and issue following commands sudo unlink /usr/local/bin/pip3 sudo pkg upgrade udx Reboot Polisy again
  5. This was solution that worked for me. From Polisy Admin Console | Configuration tab | Upgrade Packages. Once you hear 4 beeps, reboot Polisy If that doesn’t fix it, SSH in and issue following commands sudo unlink /usr/local/bin/pip3 sudo pkg upgrade udx Reboot Polisy again
  6. The fix didn't fully correct the issue for me. In my case after running the update above, I also needed to SSH in and execute the following commands (provided by Michel): sudo unlink /usr/local/bin/pip3 sudo pkg upgrade udx
  7. It gets me part way there, the challenge is the Alarm dismiss is not device dependent, so you cannot tell which echo device has its alarm dismissed.
  8. Good to know, I did learn something today !!! Thanks. Perhaps I can send a suggestion to Amazon on it triggering a routine on an alarm activating and wait the 3 years to be implementedd !!!!
  9. Thanks for the reply. re: what I am trying to achieve is when the kids or for that matter my Alarm goes off, certain things happen, HVAC turns on, shades open, certain lights turn on, etc. For most in our family our schedules are not fixed and so the alarm time from one day to the next changes for us all, so I was hoping that the alexa alarm (which everyone sets through the alexa app) could be a trigger for the ISY to do these things. re: Routines I can set a routine in Alexa to trigger at a certain time and play music to wake us, and then to your point change a variable on the ISY that then does those things above. Problem is getting the family to use/update an alexa routine each time they need to change their wake time is next to impossible on my end, its clunky and they just use the Alexa alarm feature instead. I suspect what I am asking for is not possible but thought I would ask in case someone had figured it out. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts
  10. I am pretty sure this is not possible but will ask given I am always surprised with this forum and its ability to come up with solutions. I use Amazon Alexa throughout the house including in family members bedrooms who use their Alexa Echos as their alarm clocks and they use the Alexa app to update their individual alarms. Is there a way for Alexa to update a variable in the ISY when a particular Alarm goes on and off? I know I can use Alexa routines to do this, but the kids will only use Alexa Alarms. Wondering if this is something folks have solved for?
  11. Cannot blame him, not exactly the best publicity for his personal PE firm Richmond Capital Partners !!!! I guess he wants to erase the whole disgrace from his past and corporate history? Makes you wonder how many other disasters he has caused and basically erased from his background !! Perhaps some comments on some of his recent LinkedIn posts asking for comment on Insteon will get his attention !!! So sad someone can get away with this in 2022 and just walk away from a large community, leave them hanging and offer zero comment. Perhaps rather than go to Harvard he should have studied ethics 101. Oh well. We move on.
  12. Smartlabs licensed the Nokia name for a new product line but you will see these products are also not available and will also not see the light of day. Perhaps folks should contact Rob Lilleness on his LinkedIn page (interesting he has deleted all references to Insteon) seeking more information, perhaps he can comment.
  13. Are there plans to port the PG2 AVRemote Node Server to PG3?
  14. Sure if someone builds it.
  15. Got it, so next time I see a new version number in the store I just stop and then restart the node server and it will auto upgrade. Got it. Will try it next version release. Thanks all, I knew I was missing something.
  16. Question on PG3. How do I upgrade a Node Server like I do in PG2? Let me explain. In PG2 if a new version of a Node Server is released, the button in the node server store says Upgrade (or something like that). Makes it easy to upgrade and keeps any programs intact I have written in the ISY with the Node Server. In PG3 I don't get an upgrade option. If the developer publishes a new version of the Node Server to the store, I only get an Install option, I then need to Delete the old/existing Node Server (destroys any programs written in the ISY interacting with that Node Server) and then I need to Install it and Configure the new version. Its a pain, so wondering if I am missing something here? ps Using the Dyson Node server on PG3 where this is happening but I believe this is a PG3 thing not a specific Node Server thing.
  17. Got it. There are so many forks of the 'unofficial' API given Dyson doesn't support anything but their app. I know xKing supported oscillation in his PG2 version which stopped working when the second factor authentication was introduced. Either way will look out for updates and happy to test anything you need on a PH02 if helpful.
  18. To Close this out, Gordon corrected the problem and the node server is up and running. Thank You. Working well. @glarsenNot big concerns but thought I would ask: I have a Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool Cryptomic (PH02) so selected it as a DEVICETYPEPUREHUMIDIFYCOOL = "358". Assume that is the right device type? The Node Server shows the current humidity percentage but there is nowhere to control humidity: On/Off Auto/manual If Manual the Target relative humidity For Oscillation only allows you to set it at On or Off not Off, 45, 90 or Breeze per the remote
  19. @glarsen, done and much thanks in advance.
  20. Is that true for all node servers? Cannot find the PG3 Dyson Node Server sub forum.
  21. @Bumbershoot Thank You for pointing me in the right direction. Will wait to hear from @glarsen For future enhancements on PG3 would be great if there was a link in the node server store to the prefered contact method of the Node Server developer. Would also be nice to eventually have a space for folks to rate (1 to 5 stars) and also comment on node servers so one can look at the community feedback before buying a node server. Understand this is still Alpha, just some future suggestions, if UDI really wants this to scale, this is key, as I am sure UDI doesn't want to be doing customer service and support for the 100s of node servers. @bpwwer Appreciate everyone's hard work on this, this is an awesome step forward with PG3.
  22. So what do we do if a Node Server we paid for doesn't work and there is no (obvious) way to contact the developer? Not sure how to even contact the DysonPureCool Node Server owner (Gordon Larsen)? Is he on this forum? Right now it doesn't install. @Michel Kohanim
  23. I don't get that option:
  24. So finally got around to installing PG3. I installed one of the free node servers no problem. Then linked PG3 to my portal account and purchased the DysonPureCool node server. So far so good. Went to install it but it will not install (I did purchase it and $10 hit my credit card), so I know that piece worked. This is what the log says. Doesnt mean anything to me. Thoughts on how I get to install this Node Server? PS. there wasn't a PG3 DysonPureCool Node Server Forum topic so posting here. Any help appreciated. 2/14/2022, 13:02:11 [pg3] info: [00:21:b9:02:50:a1_9] :: Creating Nodeserver 'DysonPureCool' 2/14/2022, 13:02:11 [pg3] warn: [00:21:b9:02:50:a1-9] :: NodeServer folder exists, removing... /var/polyglot/.pg3/ns/00:21:b9:02:50:a1_9 2/14/2022, 13:02:14 [pg3] error: unhandledRejection REPORT THIS!: Error: Request failed with status code 404 at createError (/var/polyglot/node_modules/axios/lib/core/createError.js:16:15) at settle (/var/polyglot/node_modules/axios/lib/core/settle.js:17:12) at RedirectableRequest.handleResponse (/var/polyglot/node_modules/axios/lib/adapters/http.js:231:9) at RedirectableRequest.emit (node:events:365:28) at RedirectableRequest._processResponse (/var/polyglot/node_modules/follow-redirects/index.js:399:10) at ClientRequest.RedirectableRequest._onNativeResponse (/var/polyglot/node_modules/follow-redirects/index.js:57:10) at Object.onceWrapper (node:events:472:26) at ClientRequest.emit (node:events:365:28) at HTTPParser.parserOnIncomingClient [as onIncoming] (node:_http_client:621:27) at HTTPParser.parserOnHeadersComplete (node:_http_common:127:17) at TLSSocket.socketOnData (node:_http_client:487:22) at TLSSocket.emit (node:events:365:28) at addChunk (node:internal/streams/readable:314:12) at readableAddChunk (node:internal/streams/readable:289:9) at TLSSocket.Readable.push (node:internal/streams/readable:228:10) at TLSWrap.onStreamRead (node:internal/stream_base_commons:190:23) 2/14/2022, 13:02:24 [pg3] debug: Sending logfile to frontend :: /var/polyglot/.pg3/logs/pg3-current.log 2/14/2022, 13:02:26 [pg3] debug: Client pg3frontend_glDkc subscribed to udi/pg3/frontend/clients/7d79c39d-8386-425e-a22a-c325e2c5c0ea/log/main 2/14/2022, 13:02:26 [pg3] debug: Starting log stream for pg3frontend_glDkc :: /var/polyglot/.pg3/logs/pg3-current.log 2/14/2022, 13:02:40 [pg3] debug: Downloading logfile :: /var/polyglot/.pg3/logs/pg3-current.log
  25. Probably a silly question but I installed PG3 and access it via port 3000 dashboard. All fine. How do I change the PG3 default ID and password. Not a fan leaving it with defaults.
