The most recent update I got from venstar was "We are planning on having the Insteon module for the T5800 thermostat available around June or July of this year." You may want to wait it out.
-
I had similar problems. Swapped GFCI with a different brand and my problem was solved.
-
Thanks Michel that did the trick. I went through all the devices in my network and did the query insteon engine just to be sure. Should a global query insteon engine be part of the upgrade process and/or nightly query all program?

I have a number of programs that change the on-level of a scene, in particular, at night one program sets the on-level to 40% and then in the morning it sets it back to 100%. These programs have worked flawlessy under 3.1.17 but since upgrading to the latest official release (3.2.6) these programs no longer work. A sample program is below. All devices in question where these programs fail are 2476D v.38 SWL dimmers and 2476D v.40 SWL dimmers.

Also having problems with Scenes not activating Reliably when called from ISY programs with a 'Set Scene X on or off'. The programs run but the Set Scene commands are not working. When calling the device directly (not through a scene) programs seem to work.

I have two Remotelinc's that show version 00. Before I delete them and add them back, does anyone know if Remotelincs have a limitation with ISY and are always added as ver 00? I dont want to delete and add them back to only find out they are listed as ver 00 again. It would be nice if the ISY could automatically query a device and update the version number of the device, but I know there will be many higher prioritity enhancements on the list.

Michel, I have 12 Network Resources defined. Any one program will only call one Network Resource. -
Release 2.8.10 (RC6) Is Now Available

Michel, When I use the test button in Network Resources the response is instant. When I go to the program that triggers the network resource and do a 'run then' I get a 4 to 5 second delay. So it appears the issue / delay is with the program calling the network resource. I don't have anything complex in my 'then' statement it is simply 'Resource X' with X being the name of the network resource. I found this problem when I upgraded to 2.8.10 -
Release 2.8.10 (RC6) Is Now Available

I have a number of Network Resources that talk to my Squuezebox music system. The Network Resources are called by a number of programs that trigger on SWL double taps. Historically my music system would respond instantly, however ater the last ISY upgrade my Network Resources have about a 5 second delay. -
I have a 2484 and the ISY Admin console doesn't give me an option to change the LED brightness. Is this an oversight in the ISY code or is there something wrong with my installation of the device into the ISY?

After upgrading to 2.7.15 the strangest thing happend. I have two v2 thermostats that where installed correctly under 2.7.14 with the four nodes. After upgrading to 2.7.15 one of the thermostats lost three of the nodes. A few days later the other thermostat did the same thing and appeared as a single node. I removed them from isy and added them back. Each has four nodes again. So far so good. Very strange.

Firmware 2.7.12 BETA is Now Available
jwagner010 replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in Previous Releases
Upgraded to 2.7.12 from 2.7.7. Followed instructions sent and everything is working fine, no problems with the upgrade and v2 thermostats are working correctly afer re-adding them. -
Was this recorded for replay later?

Mike, Did you Query the thermostat? The thermostat doesn't automatically send temperature changes, it must be querried. There is a post on the forum with a program that querries the thermostat every x amount of minutes. Not sure if this is your problem, but you should querry the thermostat from the ISY and see if values match.

Michel, My apologies. After opening my eyes wider I did see that you can edit and add to the HTTP header, where you can then add in the authorization details. Very impressive, the ISY keeps on amazing me. Keep up the great work we really appreciate it.
-
Michel, Not sure what you mean by Choose Authorization. Where do I do that, I cannot find an option for that? I appear to be missing something. Here is my issue in a little more detail to ensure we are talking the same thing. To make my music system turn on I need to pass it the folliwing URL in this format: http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@IPADDRESS:PORT ... ..commands I cannot get the ISY to work with this format. I tested my URL using Firefox and it works fine (some issues with IE8). Because I cannot get ISY to work with this format my alternative is to turn off security on my music system and just send the follwing URL from ISY: http://IPADDRESS:PORT/...........commands......

I got a pre release of 2.7.4 and it works great. Now when I walk into my kitchen and double tap the SWL my music system as well as the light comes on. If I just want the light on I just do a single tap. The ISY networking module is great and really opens up the amount of devices the ISY can interface to. It is a must have module. Michel, It appears that username:password@IPAddress is not supported. Is this something that will be supported going forward as many applications require this.
-
I want to interface my ISY to my Home Music System (SqueezeBox) which sits on my NAS. I would like to make it so when I double tap a switch in a room that the music for that room comes on. I know the URL for my squeezebox to make the music turn on for that room. In this case: http://192.168.0.x/Handheld/plugins/Fav ... x=0&sess=1 So if I put the URL above into a browser window the music turns on in the room (not on the PC, the PC just triggers the NAS to stream music to that room). I was hoping I could use the Netowkring Module to interface to the ISY. I wrote an ISY program that calls a Network Resource I created reflecting the above URL. But thats where I get stuck. When the program (or Network Resource) is run the Network Resource I added errors out. I don't understand Get, post, connect, etc and how I should configure this in the network resource to make this work if it is possible at all? I tried it with Get but got an error.

Mike, This was reported previously and Michel committed to making an update to the firmware to fix this issue. I am not sure where it stands on the priority list he can tell us. There is a manual work around. Dig through the following post talking about this issue. http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... highlight=

Release 2.6.15 (RC1) is now available

Is there a quick reference guide to understand the Device Link Tables returned in the Compare? I can see the device addresses but don't understand the meaning of all the other bytes returned. -
Does any one know of an outdoor thermostat that the ISY can talk to and therefore build programs around? eg. if Temp outside is x then do...
-
Not sure how this helps. You want me to replicate the error and do these tests? I know how to fix the problem once it occurs "Disable and then re-enable intenret access' on the ISY fixes it. I dont change a thing on the router which as I mentioned has all the correct forwarding rules configured. I would assume someone at UD could review your code? Anyway I will test it next time it occurs.
