  1. Michel, My apologies. After opening my eyes wider I did see that you can edit and add to the HTTP header, where you can then add in the authorization details. Very impressive, the ISY keeps on amazing me. Keep up the great work we really appreciate it.
  2. Michel, Not sure what you mean by Choose Authorization. Where do I do that, I cannot find an option for that? I appear to be missing something. Here is my issue in a little more detail to ensure we are talking the same thing. To make my music system turn on I need to pass it the folliwing URL in this format: http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@IPADDRESS:PORT ... ..commands I cannot get the ISY to work with this format. I tested my URL using Firefox and it works fine (some issues with IE8). Because I cannot get ISY to work with this format my alternative is to turn off security on my music system and just send the follwing URL from ISY: http://IPADDRESS:PORT/...........commands......
  3. I got a pre release of 2.7.4 and it works great. Now when I walk into my kitchen and double tap the SWL my music system as well as the light comes on. If I just want the light on I just do a single tap. The ISY networking module is great and really opens up the amount of devices the ISY can interface to. It is a must have module. Michel, It appears that username:password@IPAddress is not supported. Is this something that will be supported going forward as many applications require this.
  4. I want to interface my ISY to my Home Music System (SqueezeBox) which sits on my NAS. I would like to make it so when I double tap a switch in a room that the music for that room comes on. I know the URL for my squeezebox to make the music turn on for that room. In this case: http://192.168.0.x/Handheld/plugins/Fav ... x=0&sess=1 So if I put the URL above into a browser window the music turns on in the room (not on the PC, the PC just triggers the NAS to stream music to that room). I was hoping I could use the Netowkring Module to interface to the ISY. I wrote an ISY program that calls a Network Resource I created reflecting the above URL. But thats where I get stuck. When the program (or Network Resource) is run the Network Resource I added errors out. I don't understand Get, post, connect, etc and how I should configure this in the network resource to make this work if it is possible at all? I tried it with Get but got an error.
  5. Mike, This was reported previously and Michel committed to making an update to the firmware to fix this issue. I am not sure where it stands on the priority list he can tell us. There is a manual work around. Dig through the following post talking about this issue. http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... highlight=
  6. Is there a quick reference guide to understand the Device Link Tables returned in the Compare? I can see the device addresses but don't understand the meaning of all the other bytes returned.
  7. Does any one know of an outdoor thermostat that the ISY can talk to and therefore build programs around? eg. if Temp outside is x then do...
  8. Not sure how this helps. You want me to replicate the error and do these tests? I know how to fix the problem once it occurs "Disable and then re-enable intenret access' on the ISY fixes it. I dont change a thing on the router which as I mentioned has all the correct forwarding rules configured. I would assume someone at UD could review your code? Anyway I will test it next time it occurs.
  9. Gary, I agree thats what it looks like to me too. If this is true I would think it is a bug if it requires the ISY to boot to correct itself. Shouldn't the poll the router periodically to ensure it has the right public IP address??
  10. Should also add, the error I get when connecting locally is 'Connection Refused".
  11. Gary, No ISY doesn't lose power when the router does. Yes NAT is enabled and my router is set up so the ISY gets the same private/reserved internal/local IP address every time. Michael, Internal/local IP address does not change, as described above. Also I checked the router and the port forward is correct in the router with the right IP address and port combination in the tables. I will try the static IP address as suggested but this doesn't make sense to me. The router has the correct local/internal address and correct Port Forward in its tables. The only difference I see is when I go to the ISY and click on help it has the old external/internet IP address and things don't connect remotely. Appreciate the help, thank you.
  12. I mostly access my ISY remotely over the internet. When I lose power on my DSL Modem/router my DSL modem/router negotiates a new Internet IP address with my ISP. I use a dynamic dns service so that I don't have to remember the new IP address all the time. The problem is when my router gets its new Internet IP address the ISY isn't updated with the new internet IP Address. The ISY still has the old Internet IP address and therefore cannot be accessed remotely. The only way to correct the ISY with the new Internet IP address is to Disable then Enable internet access on the ISY after accessing it locally. Shouldnt the ISY poll or commuincate the router to ensure it has the most up to date internet IP address in case it changes?
  13. Good to see 2.6.7 can now manage all buttons on a KPL Timer as responders. When will the functionality be added to have the ISY manage all the KPL Timer buttons as Controllers? I currently need to manually program the KPL Timer buttons as Controllers as ISY only supports them as responders.
  14. Same problem as Garry, my Account Name is different from email address.
  15. Agreed I have same problem with my SMTP login with my ISP and need an "email" field to the SMTP login? Cannot get it to work until this happens.
  16. I upgraded to 2.6.7 with no problems. How do I have my ISY recognise and show the Keypadlinc timer buttons as responders? (they were already installed under 2.6.6) The buttons do not show in Mylighting under 2.6.7?
  17. Ok good idea. My router suppotrs it.
  18. jwagner010 posted a topic in ISY994
Last night I lost power to the circuit that feeds my Verizon DSL modem and my router to which my ISY 99i is connected. The PLM is on a seperate circuit so did not lose power (therefore ISY did not lose power). As my modem rebooted it obtained a new remote IP address from Verizon as you would expect. Couple of questions: 1) When going to the ISY help menu it showed the old remote IP address. It did not reflect the new IP address. The only way I could get ISY to update with the new IP address was to log in locally and then disable and then enable internet access. Shouldn't the ISY pole the router to get the latest IP address? Otherwise if I lose power again the only way to fix this is to locally execute the above procedure which is not always an option when I am travelling. 2) Does anyone know how I can get my new Verizon IP address remotely should this happen again? Thanks
  19. Michel, My issue is that I have a program that turns on the load on the KPL Timer. My issue is that when I have the program issue an On or a Fast On the load turns on but under the 2 minute button, and therefore turns off two miutes later. As the buttons are not supported as responders, I cannot control this. So the issue is still the same just need to be able to have Timer KPL buttons act as individual responders.
  20. Michel, The issue appears to be either a firewall or VPN issue on my end. Either way easist solution for me is to use other internet access options. Thanks
  21. Michel, This is also creating issues in my Network Setup. Any indication of what release and when we we see full support for the KPL Timer? Thanks
  22. Yes I cleared the Cache. Still get the error.
  23. Darrell, I updated Java and I still get the following error "Socket Open Failed java.net.sockettimeoutexception".
  24. When accessing my ISY 99i (Version 2.6.6) remotely over the internet, I attach to the ISY fine and get to the menu "Devices | Scenes | Programs | Administrative Console". All work fine except for the Adminstrative Console. When I select the Admnistrative console it launches but then an error box pops up saying I have a Java socket error. The administrative console works fine when I attach through my local network, just not remotely. What am I missing?
