  1. Gary, I agree thats what it looks like to me too. If this is true I would think it is a bug if it requires the ISY to boot to correct itself. Shouldn't the poll the router periodically to ensure it has the right public IP address??
  2. Should also add, the error I get when connecting locally is 'Connection Refused".
  3. Gary, No ISY doesn't lose power when the router does. Yes NAT is enabled and my router is set up so the ISY gets the same private/reserved internal/local IP address every time. Michael, Internal/local IP address does not change, as described above. Also I checked the router and the port forward is correct in the router with the right IP address and port combination in the tables. I will try the static IP address as suggested but this doesn't make sense to me. The router has the correct local/internal address and correct Port Forward in its tables. The only difference I see is when I go to the ISY and click on help it has the old external/internet IP address and things don't connect remotely. Appreciate the help, thank you.
  4. I mostly access my ISY remotely over the internet. When I lose power on my DSL Modem/router my DSL modem/router negotiates a new Internet IP address with my ISP. I use a dynamic dns service so that I don't have to remember the new IP address all the time. The problem is when my router gets its new Internet IP address the ISY isn't updated with the new internet IP Address. The ISY still has the old Internet IP address and therefore cannot be accessed remotely. The only way to correct the ISY with the new Internet IP address is to Disable then Enable internet access on the ISY after accessing it locally. Shouldnt the ISY poll or commuincate the router to ensure it has the most up to date internet IP address in case it changes?
  5. Good to see 2.6.7 can now manage all buttons on a KPL Timer as responders. When will the functionality be added to have the ISY manage all the KPL Timer buttons as Controllers? I currently need to manually program the KPL Timer buttons as Controllers as ISY only supports them as responders.
  6. Same problem as Garry, my Account Name is different from email address.
  7. Agreed I have same problem with my SMTP login with my ISP and need an "email" field to the SMTP login? Cannot get it to work until this happens.
  8. I upgraded to 2.6.7 with no problems. How do I have my ISY recognise and show the Keypadlinc timer buttons as responders? (they were already installed under 2.6.6) The buttons do not show in Mylighting under 2.6.7?
  9. Ok good idea. My router suppotrs it.
  10. Last night I lost power to the circuit that feeds my Verizon DSL modem and my router to which my ISY 99i is connected. The PLM is on a seperate circuit so did not lose power (therefore ISY did not lose power). As my modem rebooted it obtained a new remote IP address from Verizon as you would expect. Couple of questions: 1) When going to the ISY help menu it showed the old remote IP address. It did not reflect the new IP address. The only way I could get ISY to update with the new IP address was to log in locally and then disable and then enable internet access. Shouldn't the ISY pole the router to get the latest IP address? Otherwise if I lose power again the only way to fix this is to locally execute the above procedure which is not always an option when I am travelling. 2) Does anyone know how I can get my new Verizon IP address remotely should this happen again? Thanks
  11. Michel, My issue is that I have a program that turns on the load on the KPL Timer. My issue is that when I have the program issue an On or a Fast On the load turns on but under the 2 minute button, and therefore turns off two miutes later. As the buttons are not supported as responders, I cannot control this. So the issue is still the same just need to be able to have Timer KPL buttons act as individual responders.
  12. Michel, The issue appears to be either a firewall or VPN issue on my end. Either way easist solution for me is to use other internet access options. Thanks
  13. Michel, This is also creating issues in my Network Setup. Any indication of what release and when we we see full support for the KPL Timer? Thanks
  14. Yes I cleared the Cache. Still get the error.
  15. Darrell, I updated Java and I still get the following error "Socket Open Failed java.net.sockettimeoutexception".
  16. When accessing my ISY 99i (Version 2.6.6) remotely over the internet, I attach to the ISY fine and get to the menu "Devices | Scenes | Programs | Administrative Console". All work fine except for the Adminstrative Console. When I select the Admnistrative console it launches but then an error box pops up saying I have a Java socket error. The administrative console works fine when I attach through my local network, just not remotely. What am I missing?
