Lost KPL Buttons
I decided to factory reset this KPL and another I had installed and was doing the same thing. The KPL buttons for both then properly appeared. I offer this for others who may face similar problems.

Lost KPL Buttons
No backup because I was installing a new KPL unless you are referring to the time prior to the start of installation.

Lost KPL Buttons
I was changing the names of some buttons on a 6-Button KPL. My old fingers must have accidentally deleted the buttons from the console. Is there a way to get them back short of deleting and reinstalling the KPL?

Replace Togglelinc 2466S With On/Off Switch 2477S
An ancient Togglelinc has failed. I have factory reset it multiple times and selected Restore Device and Write Updates multiple times and the red apostrophe remains. I plan to replace the switch with an On/Off Switch (2477S). I haven't done this in about a decade so I wanted to draw upon the expertise on this forum before proceeding. The Replace Device function appears the method of choice, but my understanding is that I must first add the new device. Is that true? If so I am going to have to fabricate a means of doing that using a modified extension cord! Or, can I remove the old switch, wire in the replacement and then use the Replace Device function. That would seem to be the more logical approach. Thanks for feedback.

Launcher Not Working!
Unfortunately, I do not have UD Mobile because I am on firmware 4.9. I just noticed that both URLs were prefaced with https, which historically has meant they were the remote URLs. I have always used admin admin for the local URLs and my address and a password for the away URLs so I tried doing that for the displayed URLs. Voila! At least I can access the Launcher now but why is the local URL not displaying in the Launcher? Forgive me for missing this, but I am almost 80 and not the sharpest anymore?

Launcher Not Working!
I did as you suggested. Now I can see the Launcher window and my URLs. However, when I double-click the URL for the Away ISY (325 mi) I get nothing but a blank screen. When I select the local ISY I get the Authentication screen but ythe password is not accepted (Failed Retry). The local password has never been changed. It is as if the local URLs are incorrect. Where does the SY get those? Ther Portal, as previsiously noted, has no trouble.

Launcher Not Working!
Now I get Admin Console icon on the desktop with admin.ljnlp icon but selecting the Admin Console produces the message "Unable to open the application". Error: JAR resources in JNLP file are not signed by the same certificate. The Portal finds and accesses both ISY's with no problem.

Launcher Not Working!
I have downloaded a new jnlp.file and emptied the cache. The launcher opens and both my isy's appear. Selecting the cloud option and using my password admin admin fails for both isy's. Help will be appreciated.

Launcher Error Messages and KPL with no Button Back-Lighting
I have now done this twice and a Launcher icon is not displayed on the desktop. Nevertheless, when I double-click on the start.jnlp icon on the desktop the launcher itself launches and all its features are there. So, seems like no big deal.

Launcher Error Messages and KPL with no Button Back-Lighting
Two problems: 1. If I double-tap the Launcher. I get the message “Not Found” twice, once apparently for each of two networks. But, after acknowledging each message, the addresses for each network appear. When a LAN address js selected the Admin Console appears for the LAN. All appears well at that point. I can control devices and programs. However, today, an 8-button KPL no longer has back-lighting for buttons. The buttons still control but are no longer back-lit. A 6-button KPL in another room functions normally. In summary, the Launcher is having problems and the 8-button KPL no longer has backlighting of buttons. Firmware: 4.9.0 UI: 4.9.0 ISY 994i Pro OS Ventura 13.4.1 Java version 8 Update 381 Deleted all three items in cache The PLM is old.

I went into the eero and found the url for the isy. Copied that and went to the Launcher, Clicked on the Add button and typed in the url and the local isy appeared. I am getting too old for this stuff! My thanks to all of you.

Launcher Icon Does Not Appear On Desktop
After further work, now when I double-click the start.jnlp icon the Launcher icon still does not appear but the Admin Console opens. When I open the Portal the list of devices still offers no scroll bar, but I can use the search function to find and amend a device. Awkward, but it works. In Alexa, I ran Discover Devices and it appears all were successfully discovered. On a separate note, can someone guide me as the where I can find the https address for my ISY? I am currently using the http address.

Launcher Icon Does Not Appear On Desktop
MacBook Pro; Ventura 13.4.1; Java 8 update 371 The Java cache has been emptied; When I double-click the start.jnlp icon the Launcher icon does not appear on the desktop. Nevertheless, the Portal opens. When I select Connectivity my option is Amazon Echo. Selecting that, I get what appears to me the typical window with, for example, a device list but I cannot scroll in the window. Formerly, I believe, the Connectivity option was for Alexa and when selected a window I could scroll in. To a relative novice, it appears my connection to Alexa may be broken. I have tried everything I know how to do to sort this out but am at a loss. Thus, I turn to you pros with a request for help.
