My ISY is v.5.0.16B , Polyglot is v2.2.1 and Home Assistant v.0.103.4

My Home Assistant starts and runs fine. Maybe because my HA is not on same PI with my nodeserver?

I find this comment quite strange since just like I've mentioned before I have nodervers in my ISY and Home Assistant show all (but insteon thermostats) all device and interacts with ISY fine. Unless I'm not reading something correctly.

Yes they pretty much are. All my devices are controlled (mastered) by ISY - almost all. I use ISY for almost all my automation and Home Assistant only for "simple" web user interface. I have a Unraid server running 24-7 with Home Assistant, NodeRed, MQTT, Plex and some other apps running as dockers and couple VM's and that part works real well. Asus router runs openVPN server. I have a PI running Polyglot v.2 but there are some things I can't get it to work (like HarmonyHub node - it works fine on HA). So yes my requirements are met. If only everything worked 100%, some days it feels like I'm still running X10 , but that's probably for another topic to trouble shoot my system. Sorry I'm just babbling and it has nothing to do with Op's thread. I just wanted to say that op can have ISY and Home Assistant as front end coexisting no problem. P.S Sorry for bad grammar. With good user interface I would take this :" (I want string support and dynamic updating rather than restarting and having to re-upload/process profiles)" for given. Unless I behave like a robot or the house can read my mind or you have house full of motion, heat, pressure etc sensors that perfectly work together I find always use for manually turning things On and Off and here Home Assistant is way better (just my opinion) then ISY (I know, I know ISY is a hardware - but hardware is useless without software). Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to bash ISY, been using it for years (Nov.2013) With a mix of Insteon, Zwave, Ecobee and "user error" thinks don't always work as programmed therefore my need for manual input.

Isn't that what basically ISY is- customised PI ?

Recently I've been playing with Home Assistant . Its been working great for me ( and I do have a nodesever running). I love the way I can customise the front end of HA and response time is very fast. I use openVPN to access my home network when on the road and Home assistant works great with it. I also use Agave (full access) it works pretty well either with ISY Portal or "local" when using openVPN. So far only downside to HA is that it does not recognise insteon thermostats that I use in garage that is 100ft away from house. I wish ISY would use front end interface like Home Assistant. Hate using "ISY Web Access", on the "Scenes" tab you can not tell if they are on or off and HAD doesn't even display scenes. I love the ISY but it user interface looks like is stuck in the 80's.

I don't know about 4.7.3 I've been on 5.x.x for last ... what like 3 year. Ever since 5.x.x came out.

I successfully use Aeotec Zwave switch with my submerged 240v well pump. Not only I can turn it on or off but also can monitor power draw.

If your NVR has alarm input, you can send alarm out from ELK that you would trigger with ISY.

I don't know if anybody noticed but my question was if Mimo2+ is supported by ISY and then the problems I was having with it. Not about how well MimoLite works with ISY.

Hi. I have a submersible well pump that is 130 ft deep. Once a while for reasons unknown pump will loose a prime and I may have to cycle power couple times for it to kick in. I bought and installed Aeon Labs Aeotec Zwave Heavy Duty Appliance Smart Switch ZW078. The switch is also energy meter and under a status is will display Watts used at the moment. Need help with program that would cycle the pump. Hi. I just received my first Mimo2+. Included it to ISY. It shows as: _1 Multilevel Sensor and _147 Binary Switch I'm trying it with my NICE APPOLO 1050 gate opener. 1. Connected Sig1 to gate output- programed for gate MOVING. 2. Connected Relay1 to gate input - programed for STEP operation. I can control the gate operation with ISY so the switch part works but ISY does not sense the gate moving. With the gate moving I can see SIG1 led on Mmo2+ control board change status (so it is receiving signal from gate) but ISY is not aware of it. Gate motherboard has NC, COM, NO connections for output. I tryed combination of NC+COM and NO+COM with same effect. Is there anything else I should do? P.S. I'm on 5.0.10- looks like multichannel is not working right with Mimo2+. Thanks.

What about any of v5. alphas? I could use 2 relays . Zwave plus is also nice.

Hi. I would like to add Zwave in-out module to my install. Found MimoLite and Mimo2+. Mimo2+ looks like a better device with 2in and 2 out signals and Zwave Plus. Is Mimo2+ supported by ISY? Thanks

Hi. Not sure if I'm blind today or just have a brain **** but for life of me I can't find any instructions on setting up Echo with ISY without portal using RaspberryPi. Could someone please point me in right direction. Thanks.
