First of all, get rid of XML. Go to binary between the ISY and the Portal. UDI controls both ends so UDI can solve all of this. AND if bandwidth is an issue DON'T use the portal. S.A.T.T.P. Best regards, Gary Funk

I'd just like to point out that bandwidth should not be a problem. Each even only need send a few bytes to the portal. The portal should know what the data means. Best regards, Gary Funk

  22. The second link will to the same thing. It just depends on where you place it. I will mount the magnetic plate on the door and the magnet on the wall to keep the door open. Best regards, Gary Funk
  23. These are NOT magnetic locks. There are magnetic door releases. They hold the door open and release the door on power loss. They are used to let fire doors close when a fire alarm is activated. Best regards, Gary Funk
  24. So I guess no one here has used magnetic door releases or knows of any. Such a shame this forum is CRUMBling. Best regards, Gary Funk
  25. No. It's not relevant to your question. The devices I ordered have shipped. I'll let you know if they are good. S.A.T.T.P. Best regards, Gary Funk
