You can restore your 4.5.4 backup to the new ISY and then update it to 5.0.7.
Then the conversion will be done on the 4.5.4 data.

You might be able to write a program that sets the on level twice a day but I found that setting the level at 40% works great.

Programmers name variables based on the type. Since all variables in the ISY are numeric it's mostly irrelevant. Also programs are so small it's not difficult to keep order.
