  1. When you log into Amazon account "B" does it show the Echo devices at that location correctly?
  2. Sign into Amazon account "B" and compare the devices in the two accounts.
  3. It appears you are logged into location "B" from location "A" and your location "A" dots were added to location "B". Try signing out of the current Alexa account you are logged into on your computer and then sign again making sure you are signing into location "A" Amazon account.
  4. I would log into Amazon Alexa for location "A" from your computer and forget all devices.. Then discover devices from your computer. Let us know what location the devices are discovered from.
  5. Do any of your devices, groups or scenes show up when you click on "Smart Home"?
  6. When you sign into your ISY portal for this account do your devices show up in the Amazon device List?
  7. Are you getting this information on your smartphone app or on your computer?
  8. Have you logged into your Alexa app on both your computer and smartphone using the same Alexa account? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  9. That is exactly how I had mine set up and it no longer works as it did before. As Benoit stated, there are work arounds, but I didn't find those to be a good solution for me. They may work for others though.
  10. @Mango here's the response from Benoit as to why scenes no longer work with groups. This is the expected behavior. ISY scenes do not have a status. When Alexa queries the "device", the skill knows it's a scene and will return an error as the status is unknown. This is the drawback to exposing scenes as devices. Regarding the turn off not working, it's also expected. If Alexa think it's off, when you press the button, it will send a turn on. But after turning it on, it queries the status... which returns an error. So it is considered off. If you would like a work-around and get a status, you could wrap your scenes inside a program. Programs do have a status. So if you use Alexa to turn on a program, which turn on the scene, then the status returned will be on (program status will be true). But, if the scene is activated outside the scope of the program, or if your light is manually turned on/off, then the status of the program won't match the device. You could go a step further by adding an if your program. Example: If device is not off turn on device else turn off device. This way, the program status will always reflect the status of the light. This thread solved my r "could not retrieve file /conf/11.prp" problem.
  12. You might try forgetting both basement light entries in the Alexa web app and Alexa smartphone app. Then identify the basement lights as a light in the Alexa category in the ISY portal. Then rediscover devices. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  13. You may want to read through this thread. Benoit gave a very thorough explanation on why I was experiencing the results I was using scenes in Groups and Routines.
  14. Benoit, I appreciate the explanation. the smart phone app behavior is not an issue for me because I rarely use it.It was nice to be able to walk in a room with 3-way switches and say turn on the light. Thanks again!!
  15. I have three scenes consisting of 3-way switches. They have all been set as device/light in Alexa category in the ISY portal, forgotten in the Alexa web version app and then added and show up as devices, and show up as devices in the Aleax smart phone app. If the lights are off I can turn them on with the smart phone app. However, the smart phone app does not show them as being on and I am unable to turn them off with the smart phone app. The only way I can make them work in a group is ask Alexa to turn the group on to a brigtness percentage and turn it off to 0 percent. They do work in routines. Insert other media
  16. I see the on/off button. When I press the button I get an error message and the light does not turn on. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  17. Yes. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  18. I am still unable to control them with the app, group or routine. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  19. @bmercier I already had it set up as you instructed so they were not in the scenes. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  20. @bmercier I have the scenes set as you instructed and still unable to control them via the app, group other routine. What else could I be doing wrong? Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  21. My problem is with scenes for 3-way switches. Alexa can't control them now in the Alexa App on my phone or when they are included in a group or routine when previously there was not a problem. Thank you.
  22. I'm experiencing the same thing as Goose66.
  23. In Windows I need to use Ctrl V to paste. It will not paste using a mouse paste command.
  24. oberkc, As I look back through the logs, the program was working. The situation was, I would look at the logs when the lights were supposed to go on. I would see nothing in the logs and paid no attention to the time in the logs. Then I would change the program trying to figure pout what I was doing wrong. In the meantime I would manually turn on the lights through the admin console or mobile app. Of course I would have no idea the program triggered because the lights were already on. As usual, the ISY was doing exactly what it was told to do. I just didn't take the proper time to read the logs carefully. Lesson learned!!
  25. Problem resolved. I had not changed the time zone when I installed the ISY a couple months ago. Thus it was off by two hours. Even though I said the off program was working it was scheduled to go off after bedtime. So, in my mind that part of it was working. Currently these are the only programs I have that are time based. So, the problem never appeared before now. Such an easy fix to a frustrating problem. Thanks everyone for the ideas. Much appreciated.
