  1. Winter Storm Watch and Winter Weather Advisory are now on your list of alerts. We had both this evening and neither showed up in the Alert box in the admin console. Should they? Thank you!

I don't have the switch you are having difficulty with, however, I've had similar experiences with other z-Wave devices. I've found that running an "Update With Interview" will many times add the missing nodes. Other times having the device inches away from the Eisy when adding it helps. I also have a few Z-Wave devices that I have not been able to successfully add to my Eisy.
  3. Have you checked the Zigbee Support box in the Configuration tab in the admin console? Have you tried power cycling your eisy?
  4. My experience is power cycling is the best way to fix it.

I have the same predefined messages in my Push plugin as you do. If custom messages can be added to the Push list, I don't know how to do that. I use the Notification plugin to send custom messages.
  6. If you have a network cable connected to you Isy, you should be already connected to the internet. Download the firmware to your computer and remember where it downloaded to on your computer. Open the admin console and connect to your Isy. You will update your Isy with the file you downloaded. As @Techmansaid, follow the instructions word for word.

    Thank you for the explanation!

@JaviIf a program A turns a device on, will program B see it as the device being switched on or would program B be looking for a change in the device status?
  9. dbuss replied to Kentinada's topic in eisy
I programmed a notification using "Control" and then re-programmed it using "Status" and both worked fine.

Have you tried using "Status"? If not, try it and see how it works.
  11. dbuss replied to Kentinada's topic in eisy
I've Found that "Control" works much better with Insteon switches.
  12. dbuss replied to Kentinada's topic in eisy
Is your switch an Insteon or Z-wave? I've found that when using "Control" with some Z-Wave devices, my Eisy doesn't catch the control action quick enough to trigger the program. Using status seems to have helped that.
  13. The Aeotec Motion Sensor M6001-MTP is attempting to connect when it's flashing red and green. If you use UD Mobile you may want to try and connect it by using the QR code on the device.

It is normal. However, you should not display this information publicly. Block out the uuid information so it can't be seen.

I've added a Zooz Zen 16 to my Eisy. The Zen 16 added and the power node and the three switch nodes. However, there is no information in the switch nodes. The power node is working as it should. I can turn the Zen 16 power on and off from the admin console. I can hear the Zen 16 switching when it's triggered. But the information does not get to the admin console. I've used the update with interview several times and I've removed the Zen 16 and readded. Has anyone successfully added the Zen 16 to an Eisy? Thank you! Problem solved. I had to include it with no security. Works great now.
  16. I've attached a screenshot of the configuration panel in my Push Plug-in. Here's an example of how I use them in a program. Garage Door Open Notification - [ID 0003][Parent 0001] If 'ZY 213 Garage Door' Status is Open Then Set 'Polyglot / Push / Garage Door' Message Open Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  17. I experienced similar issues with one of my locks. I tried three different locks and all had issues. The fix for me was to find a location for the Eisy that it could communicate reliably with my two door locks. Since then my lock issues have disappeared.
  18. I appreciate this information. Thank you! I got the 2nd generation alarms to add and display correctly by putting them right next to the Eisy when adding them. The 1st generations would not add.
  19. if you delete them, they will most likely return. Most have a file named unused nodes and put them all in there. That way they are out of site...out of mind.
  20. I've had success doing this with other Z-Wave devices but no success with the First Alerts. I will continue with this approach. Thank you!
  21. For what it's worth. I've experience this with a few Z-Wave devices and currently with my First Alert ZCOMBO alarms. The other devices that experienced this I was able to get all the nodes by removing and re-adding and in some cases preforming several interviews. Thus far I've been unsuccessful doing this with my First Alert alarms.
  22. I've had the 994, Polisy, and now Eisy and couldn't be happier. I had struggles with the Eisy in the beginning. But now it's working great. I installed my daughter's Eisy this past weekend and I'll be installing my son's this week. Eisy is a great product for me.
  23. Thank you @RPerrault. These are the nodes I used to have also. I need to figure out why I no longer have them.
  24. Only one of the outlets on this receptacle is Z-Wave controlled. The other is a pass-through outlet.
  25. The images below are screenshots of my AC for a First Alert ZCOMBO device. If you are using these alarms are these what you are seeing in your AC device tree and programming screen when trying to use the alarm in a program? Thank you!
