  1. You are correct in that you do not need an Echo. But you still need to purchase the portal and you are restricted to issuing commands using the included Bluetooth microphone which has a range of less than 30'.
  2. I tried with a different Echo. Same results, the Alexa app does not include an ISY among those in Connected Home. I suspect that a second portal is required which, in turn, requires a second ISY. I was hoping for a less costly solution.
  3. The 2476D was manufactured mid-2008.
  4. Which specific H-D motor? Which battery pack? Which controller? Provide as much information as you can. BTW, not pertinent to you dilemma, but how long do the batteries last? Are you using lithium batteries? How often do you move blinds?
  5. You'll, of course, need the remote with voice.
  6. There's a difference in the firmware and UI. Both should must match. Help > About
  7. OK, I got my voice back. The original two Echos are working. But there's still no ISY option for the new Alexa account.
  8. Battery powered devices do not always report their current state. You may be able see a dry state if you tap the set button.
  9. I added a 2nd Echo account following these instructions: 1. Get a new Amazon Account and tie your 2nd Echo to the new Amazon account 2. In ISY Portal: a. Create a Subaccount under your account b. Create a different user under your new Subaccount c. Add your ISY to the new Subaccount d. Go to Admin Console | Portals | Approve the access from the Subaccount e. Login to ISY Portal using the subaccount credentials f. Follow the same procedures for linking ISY Portal to Echo but this time use the Second Amazon account (#1) Everything went well until I opened the new Alexa account. Link to ISY doesn't appear at all. Edit: now nothing works, not even the original two Echos.
  10. Devices in red can be controllers. Devices in blue are responders only.
  11. Possible, but not likely. When adding a legacy device, browse the ISY list for the device you're adding. The PLM doesn't have a list of devices.
  12. The scene should have been added unless you created it after the portal was initially set up.
  13. What are the other red devices?
  14. Is there a box with a + to the left of the device? What information is at the top center when you select the device?
  15. The only workaround I found that works is rechargeable batteries.
  16. From the portal, select add scene. Search for and add the scene, then from the Alexa, discover devices.
  17. QSG showing jumper. It's also shown in the Owner's Manual for earlier revisions.
  18. That depends on the age of the sensor. Revisions 1.9 and later do not have the jumper.
  19. The sensor does respond to both open and close. The sensor will send an on when opened and an off when closed. If you want another device to turn on when the sensor is closed, then you can do that with a program.
  20. You'll also need Ethernet to Serial cables Neither the ISY nor the router has a serial port. (The 99i did.)
  21. Teken, it that distance between the router and PLM or between the PLM and ISY or both?
  22. The cable distance between the ISY and PLM should be 6' or less. The distance between the ISY and router can be longer. There is no advantage to using Cat6 over Cat5 for the ISY.
  23. What are all the specific devices that are part of you HVAC system? Brand? Model?
  24. I suspect a typo. You cannot have two portals.
  25. You can use any sensor that you can add tot he ISY.
