In the simplest case, if there's an accessible outdoor outlet, then it's easy to probe your entire Insteon network. It's only a bit more difficult if you have dual-band devices. But there's always the gain over cost. So why would someone probe your home? Or why wouldn't they?

Three dims or brightens is with one command delightfully effective. I do have situations where a precise brightness level is required, but that's not an everyday occurrence. Thank again, Monsieur Mercier

A solution is to forget all device and groups (bottom of list) and re-discover devices. I don't have any groups, but I suspect that they will all need to be recreated.

I can't argue with that logic

I issued a voice command an received a message that there was more than on device with that name. The same message repeated when I tried anothe command. A view of the connected home device revealed that nearly every device in the list was duplicated. How can this happen?

I just tried with one device, a KPL dimmer. The dimmer has a default of 50%. I randomly started by telling Alexa to set the [spoken_name] to 30. Bingo! The light did not turn on and Alexa went silent. I then tried every 10%age and Alexa responded correctly. And, similar to what madcodger found, 29% and 31% were fine. The only non-response was 30!!!

It's difficult to blame the PML as only ISY users have reported the problem. Also, as abartello indicated, the older ISY didn't exhibit an All On. But, there's also a lot more devices now. Still, no solid evidence pointing to a cause, only speculation.

You'll need two programs and a spare device (you'll need to query the device because you can't query a battery powered device). Link the sensor as a controller of the spare device. Oh, it was clear. But not nearly the quality of sound reproduced by my sound system. I'm a sound enthusiast and have up-scale, although vintage (60's-80's) audio gear.

Forgot to mention, the suffering was not because of the music, only the sound quality

I'm not in favor or "named" devices being gone (what if I want to rename it), but I'd certainly appreciate having devices with given names be in a different color than devices that have default names.

Alexa can control all devices in the connected home list (if you can pronounce it) even if you didn't specifically name it using the portal. But if you do assign a name using the portal, then you need to re-discover devices from connected home.
