5 way switching Cost effective way to utilize insteon?
Whether you can use a single Micro Module plus a dimmer depends on the current wiring. Describe the wiring at each switch location, especially the end switches which will be 3-way switches (3 connections/screws). The other two switches will be 4-way (4 connections/screws).

The first few accounts went well, but I'm having difficulty with the fourth. Here's the message I'm getting:

What is the best deadbolt for use with the ISY?
Your Schlage locks will not fail, so you may as well upgrade now

What is the best deadbolt for use with the ISY?
All six of our Schlage locks are keyed alike, albeit, not as easily as the Kwikset.

What is the best deadbolt for use with the ISY?
You may need a repeater. The best repeater by far is the Aeon Gen 5 Siren. There is no way to tell in advance. Also, read this.

Voice Remote for Amazon Echo
When I'm at my computer, the Echo is behind me. The microphone allows me to avoid spinning around to issue commands. One of the Dots I ordered should alleviate that need

Multiple Echos, different IDs not working
Yes, I did--or rather Michel did. I now have three Echos running independently. It's much more convenient. We can control devices without having to state which room we're in, for example, "Alexa, turn the light on," instead of "Alexa, turn the bedroom/dining room/living room light on." That includes fans, lamps, fireplaces, window coverings, etc. I just ordered two Amazon Echo Dots. Michel, thanks again for super supportive service. You're splendid

Cycling Pump on/off every # hours
Another approach is to put the devices in a scene and control the scene. Fewer statements require less code to process, possibly shaving a nanosecond or two off the execution time

Harmony control via Amazon Echo/ISY/IFTTT
For any ISY program On runs Then and Off runs Else. If you also want the If evaluated, tell Alexa to ask Izzy to run the program. The Echo, more specifically, Alexa has some difficulty with letter words, such as TV. Terms such as video or tele may be interpreted correctly more often.

IOLinc to warn when condensate pump full
Looks good. Wire it up, turn the pump on and off once or twice (with a lull). If the notification is reversed you have two ways to correct it

New install, where do I begin?
Insteon seems primarily designed for the DIYer Nest has been the subject of several articles indicating that it's easy to hack into your LAN I searched Google for "best ip camera." Amcrest did not make any list. I don't know much about Skylinknet, but the most popular security system among posters on this form is Elk, albeit costly, but Elk integrates with the ISY. Too, IMO a security system, if you need one, is not the place to skimp.

Other that they detect leaks or door openings, do you mean advantage over other protocols such as Z-Wave or over other Insteon compatible sensors?

New install, where do I begin?
You can install all power line device in one fell swoop. Select Start Linking (rotating arrows icon), press and hold each set button (the device will appear in a list) and select Finish. This is a great method for a new install.
