  1. What is the result of scene diagnostics?
  2. stusviews replied to brianp6621's topic in ISY994
That's because the button isn't adjusted to an On-level of 0 (zero). Select the controller to set the button's On-level.
  3. The best workaround can fail if you don't have good communication, so that should be your first line of attack. The Aeon siren is considered one of the best repeaters by several posters including myself. In the interim, you can try using repeat. You can get complex. For example, call a second program such that if the conditions are met disbles the repeat program. And a program that enables the repeat program when the door is unlocked. Lock Program If door is closed and lock is unlocked Then repeat x times lock the lock run disable program Disable program If door is closed and lock is locked Then disable lock program Else run lock program Unlock program If door is unlocked Then enable lock program

Yes, that affects only the button's LED, not any scenes.

Add the button as a responder with an On-level of 0 (zero) to the scene(s) that contain the individual lights.
  6. The ISY cannot control a secondary button LED. The solution is to create a scene that contains only the button as a member and then control the scene.
  7. A program using "Control" should not do that unless the command is resent. Post your program (right click on the program, select Copy to Clipboard and paste here).
  8. Tools, Generate Topology will do everything that you ask except for programs.
  9. When I log in using a DynDNS account, the ISY correctly shows my DDNS address.
  10. Using "typical" values for an electric motor, 90% efficiency and 85% power factor, a .75 HP pump @ 110VAC pulls 7 amperes, so the label is correct.
  11. The OPs first post indicated 110V.
  12. That's correct. That's why I asked. Help, About shows how you are accessing the ISY
  13. smokegrub, can you manipulate the pressure switch manually?
  14. See post #15: http://forum.univers...ter#entry142766
  15. Does the pump normally run 24/7? If not, what specifically causes the pump to run? What causes it to stop?
  16. GMD99, where do the respective addresses show? At the ISY configuration page, at your browser address bar, someplace else?
  17. Insteon devices do not use Wifi. In any case, the SynchoLinc is powerline only.
  18. You can use the ISY if you've measured the On and standby (Off) current using an ammeter. You can also take a guess, but you'll have to test the settings. If distance between the SynchroLinc and the pump is a problem, the Syncholinc does not need to be in it's final position to calibrate it. You can plug it in near the pump and then move it.
  19. Right click, Z-Wave, Set Configuration Parameter
  20. See post #15: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/16395-aeon-aeotec-gen5-siren/?hl=parameter&do=findComment&comment=142766
  21. fryfrog, you are correct. The Mini Remote always flashes green for On and red for Off. Each the 4- and 8-button Mini Remotes can be put in any one of three modes; 4-button where the left side is Off and the right is On, 8-button where each button toggles Off and On and 8-buttonwhere each button is On-only. A difference is how the buttons are marked. The 4-buuton has a down carat on the left of each button and an up carat plus a through d on the right. The 8-button buttons are labelled a through h. Edit: The ISY handles the button in the same manner as keypad buttons.

Yes, that's the device. But, you're unlikely to notice much difference. The coupler simply increases reliability when transmitting an Insteon across opposite legs of center-tapped, single-phase electric supply. RF reliability fluctuates. You'd have to transmit a signal during a specific unknown instant.
  23. You can use a program with any version of the ISY to control Z-Wave devices with Insteon commands or have Z-Wave commands control Insteon devices.
  24. They're also available as 4- and 8-button devices. The Mini Remotes do need charging every few months or so.

The hard-wired phase coupler, which bridges the opposite legs of the center-tapped, single-phase electric supply ensures that most of the Insteon signal remains within the building. That's because Insteon signals, like virtually everything else on the powerline, travels in all direction including toward the source (i.e., distribution transformer─the large gray cylinder-like object on the telephone pole). The hard-wired phase coupler transfers Insteon signals to the opposite leg at the panel. RF coupling is easier to achieve, but RF coupling between opposite legs is more easily interrupted than is hard-wired coupling. The hard-wired coupler has no RF ability nor does it repeat Insteon signals. The purpose of the hard-wired coupler is bridging, nothing else. Powerline signal suckers and signal stompers would have to overrun your whole house before they interrupted the coupling that a hard-wired device provides.
