There are Insteon compatible Venstar thetmostats, actually Insteon adapters for some Venstar thermostats. They're available at the SH store. I have two, no longer in use, if you're interested. Edit: T1800 + adapter

The 2441TH is not compatible with a heat pump.

What is the result if you enter: ping isy

Identify everything wired or plugged into that circuit. temporarily disconnect (wired) and unplug (plugged in, turning something off is inadequate) everything on that circuit except the misbehaving switch(es). Plug a Range Extender into that circuit. What's the result?

GFIs are in the bedroom because the code requires them. The NEC is not there to help manufactures make money. as some claim. It's published by the National Fire Protection Association and is voluntary. The main purpose is safety. Most states and municipalities incorporated the node into their building standards. Some municipalities have even stricter standards (e.g., NYC, Chicago, Miami and many more). Some early GFIs caused HA difficulties, but most current GFIs are OK. The primary attack should be improving communication and not by not bypassing the required protection. A different GFI may help as will Range extenders and dual-band devices.

The EZFlora will water on schedule no matter the weather. A rain sensor will delay the schedule if it rains. But, the rain sensor is useless if it has nothing to control. That's why both the irrigation and climate modules are required for proper irrigation (which will both conserve water and avoid over-watering).

The green LED shows only the status of the sensor, not the relay. If you disconnect the sensor, the light will turn off. That will not affect the operation of the I/O Linc. Which sesnor are you using? Does it have two or three wires? Is the green LED lit both when the garage door is opened and alsowhen it's closed?
-
The sensor cannot be set up as momentary. Then sensor responds only to what you hanve connected to it (e.g., magnetic contact switch). The status light indicates the status of the relay (lit when closed, unlit when open). The relay will remain closed if it's in latching mode. Try setting the I/O Linc to latching and then back to momentary. Have you selected "Relay responds to sensor?" Can you control the garage door successfully, both remotely and using the set button?

There are several ways to run cables between 3-way switches, but there is only one schematic. All standard (non-HA) 3-way switches require two travelers.
-
It's an easy way to run anything that's already set up; scenes, programs, cameras, network resources, wake on lan, etc. for those who just need control, but not intricate details.

You should be able to log in to the ISY w/o the PLM. The only purpose of the PLM is to communicate with Insteon devices. BTW, if you assigned a prot (eg., 62180), then you need add the port number to log in using http://isy:port Several poster found that PLMs near or more that 2 years old tend to fail.
-
You are correct, it is B9 and not 89. BTW, if you use the serial cable, then it ISY will not be available on the LAN. What is the result if you browse to http://isy? Does the ISY show on one lit LED, the one labeled POWER?
-
A voltage indicator/pen is inadequate. The indicator can give a false reading. Get a voltage or multimeter. Even the least costly meter will do.
-
If you did not assign a static address to the ISY, then the address may have changed. If you assigned a port, then you must append the port number to access the ISY from a browser. Can you ping the IP address (a port number is not required for a ping). Edit: Can you locate the ISY in your router menu of attached devices? The MAC begins with 00.21.89

The Heath/Zenith SH-5412 has bulb saver technology which takes 2 seconds to fully illuminate the bulb. While that may be OK for the bulb, it's not OK for the Micro Module sense circuitry which requies full voltage at the start.
-
The ISY would not be aware of the Homelink lamp controller. But, you could connect a Homelink or a Liftmaster light switch to a Micro Module and the ISY can respond to the Micro Module.
-
I've had success using Leviton, Lutron and RAD motion sensors as Micro Module triggers. Even a Heath/Zenith sensor that was not dual-brite.
-
Which motion sensor (be specific)? Does the motion sensor control the load correctly when the Micro Module is not used? With the Micro Module wired to the load and the motion sensor not connected, does touching the yellow wire to the line terminal control the load?
-
I use both HomeLink and an I/O Linc to operate the door and perform tasks related to the door movement. That's not a problem. But you indicated that, My recommendation was directed at that concern. You could also wire a Liftmaster light switch to a Mini Module which would, in turn, send an Insteon signal
-
Homelink is not compatible with Inseon (nor Z-Wave nor ZigBee). It is compatible with X10, so you can use an X10 module. HomeLink is also compatible with Liftmaster, so the I/O Linc is not required unless you want Inseton control of the garage door, too.

I inserted the jumper first. Once the piezoelectric buzzer is in place, the jumper is concealed. BuzzLinc

There is no known solution for kids. When kid age, the problem persists or doesn't. A partial solution is to attack the result, not the cause, for example, using sensors. It's not a full solution unless you have motorized doors, windows and window coverings, but you'll be aware.

I removed or bypassed any and every lamp switch. Every seating location has a TableTop enclosure within reach. Every button is labelled. So are the buttons on all of our remotes (AV, HA) and phones and keyboards. Well, we do have a few unlabeled macros on our One-For-All remotes

The program won't run at all because at 7:29:35AM it won't ever be be between 8:29:50AM and 6:30:00PM.
