  1. Which variable reported the current temperature?
  2. Dennis, which variable did you use to report the temperature?
  3. There's a Temperature variable for the Elk module and for the Weather module, but none for the thermostat. Custom Variables.
  4. line-->ApplianceLinc-->FilterLinc-->computer.
  5. Nope. You'll need a program for each degree or range of degrees. for example, >=70º and <=72º.
  6. If Time is 7:00 AM And Status 'thermostat' is 70º (Temperature) Then send something
  7. here I use DOS, but I've upgraded to XP, both 32 and 64 BTW, 8.1, too, both 32 and 64
  8. Java 6? The latest Java 8.
  9. Using programs (do not use the On/Off buttons a a scene controller): If Control 'device' is Switched On Then do what you want and If Control 'device' is Switched Off Then do what you want -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using scenes: 1. Change the mode to 8-button, use the 6-button frame and buttons. The ISY will see the buttons as A through H. 2. Make both A & B the controller of any scene 3. Make both G & H the controller of any scene 4. Buttons labelled A, B, C, and D will actually be buttons C, D, E, and F
  10. None of my TriggerLincs (#3) show a Heartbeat node. They all have Opened/Closed.

Gremlincs. Only Insteon networks exhibit sporadic aberrations of signal sending (SASS) when gremlincs are frolicking
  13. Delete the Admin icon wherever it may be on your desktop of the PC that has a problem. Browse to http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/14420-release-4218-is-now-official/ and select step 6d.
  14. The scroll bars indicates that you may need to scroll up.
  15. Which OS, Windows (version), iOS, Linux, other?

It's gremlincs. Being somewhat stubborn, they don't March out, but hang around until they make fools in April. They usually hang around in pairs, so they're known as dual band gremlincs.
  17. Select Help. About. Which firmware? Which UI?
  18. What is the result if you browse to http://ISYor http://ISY:port?
  19. What does not light up?
  20. Did you create a scene that includes the sensors and the light?
  21. The holdoff is the maximum time allowed for the device being listened to change, not for the Syncholinc to respond to the change. The SynchroLinc will respond as soon as it detects the change in current draw that you specified--if that change occurs within the specified time. Unless you have an ammeter, it's best to calibrate the SynchroLinc manually.

Heat, any heat, is detrimental to electronics. Ideally, electronics should actually be in a cooled--not just cool-- environment. Although that's not always feasible, heat should be avoided as much as possible. Back in the days of DOS, we actually refrigerated CPUs to overclock them
  23. A magnet tends to magnetize the steel (or iron) around it. It may take awhile. At that time, opening the door won't trip the TriggerLinc. A solution is to place a thin piece of wood between the dryer surface and both the TriggerLinc and magnet.
  24. What do you have to send the signal when the dryer door is opened?
  25. As LeeG indicated, the 99i is an older device and support ended years ago. Insteon device created since that time are not all supported. Here's a link to the last official update for the 99i: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/9849-release-3310-is-now-official/
