Trigger lights on motion at 11pm, before 11pm, keep on
jam583, are the programs working the way you want?

Question about usage and ISY compared to smartthings etc..
The Schlage skill requires a Wink or Smarthings Hub. I do use the ISY to ensure that all our doors are automatically locked before bedtime. It's also possible to use voice to lock and unlock the doors, but not get the status. I don't do that.

You don't need the Else in the MS program.

What is the best deadbolt for use with the ISY?
And a steel door frame.

Have you tried not including any Else statements in the MS program? Also, why not use one program for the outside lights?

Programs Won't Stay Deleted?
Wow, the hangs I've experienced didn't occur for hours or even overnight. I never experienced it with XP. I did with 8.1 and 10 until recently--no hangs. When it did happen usually ctrl ale delete was required.

Programs Won't Stay Deleted?
I was having that for a while. I don't remember which version I was on when that started. I do know it continued through 4.5.4. For some unknown reason that stopped happening a few weeks ago, same version.

Is it time to replace my PLM?
Here's a quick made up example. If Control 'device x' is switched On Then Wait 5 minutes Set 'device x' 30%

Is it time to replace my PLM?
Although you PLM may be near or at end-of-life, the All-On phenomenon that you experienced is usually unrelated. Do you have any motion sensors or programs triggers that include the same device as a Then statement?

Programs Won't Stay Deleted?
Several program including notepad indicate if changes haven't been saved when you attempt to close them. That'd be nice for the ISY

Programs Won't Stay Deleted?
Not saving is a way to revert from changes that didn't work. Creating a copy is a better way

Insteon Thermostat changing setpoint
I prefer escargot to oysters unless the oysters are alive and the escarot isn't. That's why I switched to thermostats that respond to inaction

Open/Close Sensor vs. IO Linc?
Why would anyone even use the I/O Linc to control devices other than low voltage? That's not its purpose. That's akin to using an Open/Close sensor to control a line voltage relay to operate a low voltage device. It can be done, but why not use a device for its intended purpose?

Multiple Echo's and possible Bug
Did you happen to discover all devices before creating separate accounts? If you did, then you need to forget them all and rediscover. You can forget everything by scrolling to the bottom of the Alexa Smart Home panel.

Insteon Thermostat changing setpoint
HouseLinc offers that option, the ISY doesn't, at least it doesn't for the wireless thermostat. I've replaced my wired Insteon thermostats with Ecobee3's, so can't check that. But if your thermostat is under warranty, then you should get it replaced. Energy mode is not supposed to activate itself. BTW, you're correct about the setback. It should be lower for heating and higher for cooling.

Can the echo turn off multiple scenes on one "alexa" command?
If you have plenty of link available, then you could create a scene with the device you want turned off as responders. I have a "front" scene for when I head to bed in the rear portion of our house, "Alexa, turn off the front."

Multiple Echo's and possible Bug
I set up three additional accounts on Amazon first. Then I created the portal sub-accounts.

IRLinc control through the ISY?
That's true, the IRLinc node is only on or off. As Paul indicated, the ISY (v.4+) is not capable of Z-Wave scenes. Z-Wave devices are controlled by programs only. Also, a program is required to use a Z-Wave device as a trigger.
-
IRLinc control through the ISY?
How are you using the node, as a scene controller? as a program trigger? I'm not aware of any other documentation, but if there is any it probably won't address the ISY.
-
Insteon Thermostat changing setpoint
Disable the thermostat (right click) for a day or two. Darn, you'll have to manually control the thermostat during this time. Does the thermostat still randomly change the setpoint?

IRLinc control through the ISY?
Link Management, Add a button. Use the added button node as a program trigger and/or scene controller.

Programming: What can trigger a program and what cant?
Consider a truth table for the following statement: If the sun shines, then I'll take a walk. The sun shines and do I take a walk. The statement is True. The sun shines and I don't take a walk. The statement is False. The sun doesn't shine and I do take a walk. The statement is True. The sun doesn't shines and I don't take a walk. The statement is True. The latter two actions are true because the statement referred only to what should occur if the sun does shine. There's no mention of what to do if the sun doesn't shine.

Outletlinc
Unless it's an electronic device, you're probably OK plugging a kitchen countertop appliance into the other outlet, even using a triple tap.
