Have you tried affixing the tag to the mailbox door?
-
Try posting on the MobiLinc forum. Wes is very responsive.

Select the scene. Ensure that the OutletLinc is set to off. Select the OutletLinc within the scene, ensure that the setting is off there, also. BTW, it the scene is for Off only, change the button to non-toggle Off (options). Then it won't matter what level the OutletLinc is set to.

Enter the IP address only when using Firefox of IE, http://192.168.1.112 Do not use www, do not enter a port number.

Both the IRLinc receiver and the IRLinc transmitter are compatible with the ISY. If you can't add it to the ISY, then check what else if on the same circuit. Some audio and video gear can interfere and needs to be filtered. Once you add the IRLinc to the ISY, select Link Management to add nodes that the ISY can use to trigger programs that control Z-Wave devices.

That's the result of having the wrong IP address or port number. What's the result if you ping the IP address (do not include the port number).
-
What is the specific result? "not able to access" is too vague.
-
Enter the IP address of the ISY. If you set a port, then suffix the IP address with a colon and the port number, that is, address:port
-
Can you log in from a browser such as Firefox or IE? Do not use Chrome!
-
What was the result of step 7?

Actually, you can have two adult and four child accounts, so you may be OK. See: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201806360

Sounds like the PLM is at end-of-life, usually at about 2 years. What is the 4-digit code on the white label on the back of the PLM. If you do swap out the PLM, be sure to follow the instructions exactly.
-
You haven't answered Brian's question (post #2) which is critical to a solution. The instructions must be followed to the letter.

1. There's no practical difference between a main account and a sub-account. The main account is the first one added and from which additional accounts are created. The portal is capable of supporting a total of five accounts including the main account. Each account is completely independent. See point 4. 2. I'm not aware of any limit to the number of Echo devices that can be on an account, but only one will respond to any command. We use a wall mount for our kitchen Dot. 3. An Alexa Household has a limit of two accounts. The only commonality is the ability to share lists and purchased media. There is no sharing of portal accounts. 4. The main account is aware of all user accounts. User accounts are not. 5. That's similar to our set-up. The portal allows up to five spokens for each device/scene/program. I limited the number of devices in each account. For example, there's no need to control the front bathroom from the bedrooms which are in the back of the house (and have a separate bathroom). We don't need to control the garage's from the media room. Finally, each device/scene/program for each account needs to be set up individually including those in the Household accounts. Nothing in the portal is common with another account. BTW, you can switch between Household accounts using a voice command, "Alexa, switch accounts," and you can ask Alexa, "which account is this?"
-
You need to add the second Amazon account the the portal as a sub-account and add device, scenes and programs exclusively to the second account. The ISY portal configuration will show each account separately.
-
I corrected the second point you responded to in a subsequent post, only the primary account shows all Echo devices in both accounts. But, the Echo devices in each account are totally independent here. If I ask for the light to be turned on in the bedroom (one Echo, one Dot), only the bedroom light turns on. Only the living room responds to the identical command if I'm in the living room (one Echo, three Dots). Voice commands are completely independent. Are you sure each device is registered to the correct account? Settings, select the device, scroll to About.
-
I'm not sure what you're asking. I have four accounts, two of which are Household. The portal treats each Household account independently. It is not aware the they're in the same Household account. The Alexa app Smart Home folder also considers them as different accounts. Only the Settings folder for the primary account can "see" all the devices in both accounts, but that has no effect on how the separate accounts function.
-
Not possible, there's only one garage door kit.
-
True, but it still won't cause any harm.
-
I have four accounts, two are set up as a household account. When I open the Alexa app for either household account, all Echo devices for both accounts are listed under Settings, but when I select Smart Home only devices included for the respective account are listed. I do need to log into the appropriate portal account to create spokens. The only anomaly is the listing of the devices in both accounts. Other than that, everything works as it should. Spokens on one account are independent of spokens on the other account, music requested on one account is not reflected at all on the other account. In fact, although both accounts have several Echo device, only one Echo device at a time on either account will play the request. Is that not like your experience? Am I missing your query altogether?
-
You won't cause any harm by trying to use the 2412S PLM. If you do use it, then you won't need an external power supply, the older PLM provides power for the ISY.

I responded to your same post on the other forum

Which firmware? Which UI? BTW, gray indicates that you have the Pro version and update battery powered devices automatically is turned off.
-
No, the Echo has no effect on the KPL button LEDs. Try a factory reset on the KPL. Be sure to follows the instructions in the Owner's Manual. After the factroy reset, you will need to restore the KPL (right click to see the options). BTW, you may want to delete your duplicate post. You need to do it before someone replies to that post.

MobiLinc, MobiLinc, MobiLinc. Need I say more?
