Hi, I am finding that the mobilinc software or the ISY is not 100% in sync at times. I would say on average I only access the ISY through mobiliinc (android app) on my phone. I notice times that my office light is on, mobilinc says its off, if i press off (or fast off) the light will go off. So it functions properly but the reporting may be off a bit. I have a lot of devices so that could be an issue too but everything seems to function properly. How do I do an auto query on the status of the system? Thanks, Rich

I had the same offline message this morning. A reboot a few minutes ago (of the ISY) fixed it. Love it so damm much!

Hi, I have a scene called all off. I have a number of keypad buttons around the house (D button) that all do the same thing, they are set only to turn off & that tells the scene to turn off. Is there a way to make echo only turn that scene off? Otherwise attic fans & lights, fans, buzzers, all will start lighting up. Thanks, Rich

Hi - I am trying to get my echo setup with the ISy.IO portal but i am stuck. I have the mobilinc portal online & registered - it is not something I use to connect my ISY to my mobilinc app. I dont know how to delete that portal so I can add the echo.

Hi, I just put my ISP IP & port into the App for it to work. It sounds like this wont impact that service at all. Do people like having the echo turn lights on & off? Can you have multiple echos in your house for different locations? Thanks, Rich

Hi, I am a little confused by the email that came today. If I want to get an echo (which I think I do), how does that impact my mobilinc usage? Would it still work? Is there a downside of using a cloud server for mobilinc (not a feature I use). Does any of this impact my local network usage of the ISY network applications? I have a device that when activated sends makes XMPC play a mp3 & I wouldnt want to lose that. Thanks, Rich

Hi, I use an ISY994 IR Pro & it has been great. Lately I noticed that both in the web access, Admin app, & mobilinc that items are not in sync. Like right now it says Rich office ceiling is off on all three (Admin, Web, Mobilinc) but it is turned on. If i hit the off button, the lights go off. If i hit on (when light is off), the light will not turn on. If i hit fast on, it does turn on. Off seems to work just fine. Any ideas what is causing the problem? I am using Firmware 4.2.8. Things used to work fine & are semi working now but something isnt right. Thanks, Rich

Hi, I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel. I have am using 15 switches in the kitchen, mudroom, breakfast room area. I would say about 10 were used in the old kitchen & I added 5 new ones for various lighting, 3 ways, 4 ways, etc. So what is the best way to unlink the old scenes & setup new ones? I have about 120 - 150 insteon devices in my home. Every time I add a new device to the "goodbye" scene which has everything in my home, it takes a look time, i tend to get some timeouts (wireless devices I have in set mode, or timeout waiting). Do i just delete my kitchen scenes? Whats the best way to proceed with the ISY 994? Thanks, Rich

Hi, I use a saved web page favorite to login to ISY & a DDNS to keep track of the system. The other day it stopped working. I also use subsonic & port forwarding - same as my ISY. Now it wont work. If i type My.ip.com:4034 it used to work & now doesnt work. My subsonic is set to 4035 & works fine. If I change my port forwarding rules so the ISY has 4035, it doesnt work. If I swap back it does. If I put subsonic on 4034 it works fine. What may be the problem? The subsonic & ISY are on the same switch. It worked fine & now doesnt. Any suggestions would be welcome. I need the ISY functionality on my phone remotely (to go with my cameras which also work via port forwarding). Using ISY 4.2.8 Thanks, Rich

So a question. This program is working perfectly but I would like to add another room or two into the mix (master bathroom scene), garage scene. Is there an easy way to make this work with flashing all over in other locations? How would i add another room - as a separate program?

So how do i go about resolving them? The KPL I used is a keypad in an enclosure on my nightstand. I could easily swap that out. I guess I will start there and let you know.

It seems that the actual devices that are having problems are specifically keypad's - & only keypads. I have a number of them that are having communication errors. Is there an easy way to "delete" and readd a keypad without my manually reprogramming the programs, and scenes (meaning the ISY could do it)? Maybe I could swap another keypad in?

Sooo, in the end, a new PLM fixed everything. All my scenes are working - even better than before. I would get a bunch of 'missed' offs on the larger scenes (pressing the off button multiple times, etc). Now they are working great. The only issue I have is a few devices are getting communication errors when writing. If I press on or off physically, the ISY sees the change, if i press on or off in the ISY admin platform, the devices register the commands. If i do a query on the system, everything responds, but a few devices are always waiting to do a write & then time out with communication errors. Yet all devices work properly. I dont get it. Any suggestions would be great. These communication error devices work great, just the ISY says they are a problem (but there not). Thanks, Rich

Would relocating the ISY & doing a restore of a device not communicating help? Or should I delete a device from the ISY & readd it (a non-communicating one)?

I had a few comm errors but things mostly seem to be back. Do I try another restore PLM to see if it gets the missing items? Should I do a restore devices?

Hi, I have given up. I rebooted the ISY1 with PLM2, and it would not come back up. At that point, I loaded ISY2, restored a backup onto it, did a hard reset on the ISY2, PLM2, and am in the middle of a restore PLM. How many hours should a restore take? I did order another PLM from smarthome but I dont have it yet. Thanks, Rich
