If I have "Use Default" checked, the EMAIL notification is delivered. However, the TEXT notification is not sent. The TEXT is setup to go to myphonenumber@vtext.com. If "Use Default" is unchecked and I provide valid SMTP settings, neither the EMAIL nor the TEXT notification goes. apostolakisl Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 did you use the proper format in the "from" field? displayname:youremailaddress@yourserver.com As far as your text not getting through when the email did on default, it could be that the text was blocked as spam coming from UD's server. I would guess that it's because many people are using it to send hundreds or perhaps thousands of email notifications daily, making it look as a spam server. shyavitz Posted July 29, 2013 Author Share Posted July 29, 2013 Still don't know why my own servers didn't work. Was trying both SMTP.ATT.YAHOO.COM and SMTP.GMAIL.COM. Both of these work in my email programs just fine, with port 465. I'll just continue to use the UD Default since it is now working, unless some has a clue as to fixing the others. Server: smtp.gmail.com 2. Port: 587 3.
