osurh18 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I logged into my ISY to make a few changes to a lighting program and when I clicked on the Programs Tab nothing comes up. Any suggestions?
apostolakisl Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Are the programs still running (in other words, is stuff happening that is caused by your programs?) Did you try rebooting ISY? Maybe the SD card is loose?
oberkc Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I am still a little fuzzy on the relationship between firewalls and antivirus to the ISY, but anything new here in your setup?
osurh18 Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 None of the programs are running anymore. Are the programs stored on the SD card? Anything else stored on it? I don't have a firewall or antivirus setup so that wouldn't be it
apostolakisl Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I believe many things are stored on the SD card. So probably an SD card issue was a long shot. But it is simple enough to power down the unit, pull the card, put it back in and power the unit back up. If the above doesn't work, you can try restoring a recent backup. Hopefully you have one of those. I haven't ever seen someone post a comment on here that the programs disappeared and all else was fine. It is not like there is a way to just erase all the programs with a single event and not affect anything else.
Xathros Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 The My Programs Folder could be collapsed thus hiding ALL programs. Click the '+' Icon on the toolbar to expand the program tree. The My programs folder could also have a folder condition preventing all programs from running. Click the My Programs folder and look for conditions in the right hand pane. These are 2 simple items that could easily produce these symptoms. -Xathros

I would be curious if the root folder itself is even there.
osurh18 Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 The programs seem to be there now. Not sure what changed but the Tab is active again.
apostolakisl Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Did you reboot the computer that you were accessing ISY from? It sounds like you had an error in the JAVA console if the programs tab wasn't there.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Hi osurh18, It's quite possible that ISY was in Safe Mode. The next time this happens go to Tools | PLM Info/Status. With kind regards, Michel
