upstatemike Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 At some point I would like to see an enhancement to allow 2 ISY units to directly communicate with each other. I would like to see an ISY in my main house linked to an ISY at a summer home for example. Then I could include a keypadLinc button at the main house in a scene at the vaction house ISY. This would let me directly control the scene from the main house and also know if the scene was activated locally when nobody is supposed to be there. I know that I can view a remote ISY with a PC or touch screen but you have to proactively go and check what is going on. I am looking to use a KeypadLinc to monitor and control things so I notice right away if something at the remote location is activiated. (I also like the idea of a switch linked to a load that is a hundred miles away... somehow that is cooler than just remote control through a gui).
aLf Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 Wo Boy Michel... You know I'm in on this one, but the thought of my covering all the bases scares me. Eventually I'll need access via the jet! aLf
Michel Kohanim Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 upstatemike & aLf, It's currently being designed!!!
