MarioLanning Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I'm not sure if this already exists, if so point me there please (newbie) When I turn on Night mode, and a guest gets up and turns on a bathroom path scene, then turns it off the lights just go off, I would like to have them return to the Night Mode they were alreay on. IE Hallway 10%, Bathroom 5%. THanks!
larryllix Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 In my gathering room I use 6 different scenes. I set a variable with the current state, and have a series of programs that test the variable for which scene is desired. Now when an individual lighted area switch is operated it works independently. When the same switch is tapped Off the scene-resume programme is called that sets the desired scene remembered by the variable. This technique could easily be adapted for what you need.
LeeG Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Insteon does not have the capability for Scene Off to go to some On Level. It requires a Program to monitor for Off command and Night mode. Then set an On Level If night mode And Control 'xxxx' is switched Off Then Set Scene 'zzzz' On where Scene 'zzzz' has the desired On Levels, Hallway 10%, Bathroom 5%
