Switchlinc comm issues

I'm noticing three of my switchlinc dimmers and one switchlinc relay are now not communicating. They are all V.35. I noticed two of them did this intermittently for a while. now all four. I'm running .13 but this happened with early releases too.

 

I can't do a restore as it fails, I haven't tried much yet to diagnose, as I'm not at home.

 

I'm wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on what to check out first for when I get there.

 

I guess it could just be bad switches, although that would be disappointing as they are less than a month old.

After trying a few things I rebooted the plm. That worked

stupid question: how did you reboot the plm? (I'm serious).

Hi Steve,

 

Thank you so very much for the update. I've heard very many reports on SWL 4.0 issues all of which are related to signal reception. I am almost certain you are going to experience the same issues again.

 

At this point, I am very much considering posting a topic with warnings on SWL 4.0 as most of our issues (beyond the HL PLM issue) are related to SWL comm issues.

To reboot the PLM, unplug it and plug it back in.
