epete
When I first powered up my ISY, it had a Scene called Auto DR. I am not sure what this was for and when I try to delete it, it says "Request Failed" When I try to create a new scene, the Address is "Global" and dimmed. It cannot be edited. I am able to enter a name and when I click "OK", the scene does not appear in my Node Tree. Am I doing something wrong? Link to comment
LeeG
First, the Auto DR is part of Electricity support. "Global" is correct for creating a new Scene. What is ISY firmware? What is ISY UI (Admin Console)? What if anything was selected in main node tree when creating Scene? What OS and release is being used? Link to comment
epete
ISY firmware Insteon_UD994 v.4.4.3 (2016-02-04-10-10:33:45) ISY UI Insteon_UD994 v.4.4.3 (2016-02-04-10-10:33:45) It does not create any scene when any item is selected in any part of the node tree. I tried all Using W7 Ultimate SP1 / Java V8 Update 73 (build 1.8.0_73-b02) Edited April 14, 2016 by epete Link to comment
LeeG
Try closing Admin Console, starting with a fresh copy. New Scenes appear at bottom of Scene list until Admin Console is restarted. Link to comment
epete
OK, that did it. I now have about 20 test scenes that I created when they werent showing up. Thanks. Link to comment
larryllix
ADR is permanent part of the ISY marked as a scene and never goes away. Forget about it. Looks like your admin console was left to go to sleep as happens on windoze systems. I found this happenning very seldom on v5.0.2 but it is back very frequently, again with v5.0.4. Usually this is signified by all ac icons being greyed out and the ac gui statuses never refresh. Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk Link to comment
