RemoteLinc a LOT of Lincs

My RemoteLinc is working now. Thank you, Michel, for suggesting the factory reset.

One scene I'm enrolling it in has 24 devices (including KPL buttons) to control. It took four attempts for it to finish without a failure. It seems to be working now. Anything special I should know or be concerned about?

Hello gregoryx,

The only thing you should worry about is that the RL goes out of programming mode every 4 minutes. Now, the difficult part is that with i2, the LED acts completely "irrationally" so, in some cases, you do not know if RL is out of programming mode or is it just in one of its moods. So, in short, you just have to press the Dim/Brigth button every 3.5 minutes to give yourself another 4 minutes.

The other disadvantage of i2 is that it just eats up your battery during programming mode. So, I do recommend replacing your battery if communications become too intermittent.

With kind regards,

Michel

Thanks for the reply, Michel.

If I understand, I should be able to tap the DIM or BRIGHT key every couple of minutes and not have a problem? If it's that easy, I can handle that.

FTR, it did finally "take" all those links; I haven't tried the next group up - 50-some links, I think - we'll see how that goes next.

When I was programming mine and was done. I should have just let them time out. I decided to hit another button to stop it early and ended up turning off the LED and sounder.
