ffpllc Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Hi There, I was able to get my Schlage ZWave Doorlock into the ISY without a problem (of course that's only after I read the thread that said you needed to exclude the device first!). We're going to be renting out this house for vacation rentals and I'd like to programmatically be able to set the user codes to the new guest's last four digits of a phone number. Is that something that can be achieved in the programs? I don't see that option but figured I may be missing something. Otherwise would it be possible somehow using REST? Looking forward to feedback! Thanks! Steve
stusviews Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I do that for all regular (e.g., housekeeper, gardener) and occasional (e.g., plumber, HVAC maintenance) workers. Select Users (to the right of Options).
Chris Jahn Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Otherwise would it be possible somehow using REST? Hi Steve, You can use REST to change the user codes and schedules of Z-Wave locks. The documentation is available in the ISY SDK (http://www.universal-devices.com/isy-developers/)
ffpllc Posted June 23, 2016 Author Posted June 23, 2016 Thanks for the responses! It's great news to hear that REST can be used to set user codes and schedules. Are there any examples snipits of code out there I can start from? Thanks again. Steve
Michel Kohanim Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Hi Steve, No code snippets but if you download the SDK, under the docs folder, review ISY-WS-SDK-Z-Wave document. Everything you need is there. With kind regards, Michel
n8ur9irl Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Can someone help with a program to notify (email) when a particular code is used for the Schlage lock?
