When did they start collecting sales tax on anything but California orders? Anyone else have a source for the multi-packs of keypads? Brian H Posted June 20, 2016 Share Posted June 20, 2016 When I use Amazon. They collect the CT. sales and use tax. They have an agreement with Amazon and also have a physical warehouse in CT. If I use an Amazon Market Place vendor. Most times I do not have the sales and use tax collected. I have not made any recent purchases with Smarthome. So I can't say if they now add sales and use tax to their CT. orders. Any uncollected CT sales and use taxes are supposed to be added to our CT Income Tax forms at the end of the year.
