Brandon
What is the current status of Z-Wave Plus support on the ISY-994iZw controllers? Is Z-Wave Plus supported? Is it fully supported and if not, what is and is not supported? If it is not supported, what is the road map for adding this support? Link to comment
giesen
Let's wait until regular Z-Wave is well supported before we start asking for Z-Wave Plus. Also I believe at least the Z-Wave module would have to be replaced. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk Link to comment

Chris Jahn
Hi, We are working towards Z-Wave Plus and it will likely be part of the next official Z-Wave release (5.0.X), but of course we have to get out of Alpha & Beta first. Link to comment

And at the risk of sounding like I don't know anything, is the Z-Wave plus not the same as the next official Z-Wave release? Link to comment

Michel Kohanim
Hello all, Z-Wave Gen 5 is a hardware chip. Z-Wave Plus is a certification thing with icons and some features that only Gen 5 can provide but it's not a necessity. In short, we can get Z-Wave Plus certification even without having Gen 5 hardware. We are going to do both. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment

roopesh
Any chance there's a Z-Wave Plus module coming? Can I replace the module in my existing Z-Wave if it was ordered with Z-Wave installed? Including and Excluding is the absolute worst right now. Dealing with door locks having to come all the way to the hub makes me want to not use any of it. Link to comment
lilyoyo1
It's been out and as long as you run firmware 5.0.13 and above you can swap. Due to the nature of locks, you'll still need to bring them close to the isy to add anyway. Adding your lock prior to installation would make that process much easier. If done properly, this should be a one time process. What problems are you having that makes you have to do it on a regular basis? Link to comment
