Keane Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Has anyone integrated Honeywell's Tuxedo Touch with their ISY? I've searched (or at least tried to) on this topic but do not see any hits.
KeviNH Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 I looked into this when it first came out, but Honeywell doesn't provide much technical documentation. As I recall, Honeywell does not recommend making the Tuxedo a Secondary Z-Wave controller, so I gave up on the idea and just went with a really basic Honeywell Z-wave thermostat instead.
Keane Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) Thanks for the quck reply. i am/was hoping to get events from Tuxedo to be monitored by ISY for additional control and automation. We have a bunch of sensors (door, motion, glass break, window) that would be great to get integrated with ISY so I can get notified of certain events. Wanted to leverage that investment as much as possible without adding duplicate equipment. I guess there my be another way to "listen" to the Tuxedo voice output and program from that. KeviNH Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Depending on the make and model of your alarm, you might be able to use something like DSClink to get events into ISY.
Keane Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 Any members actually try this? I don't mind leading edge but try to stay 1 step behind bleeding edge.
