I installed version 5.0.11 firmware in the ISy and it seems NodeLink 8.4 won't connect because of some password issue.

Tried everything I could think of.

I've got the same issue.  Something similar is happening with my Polyglot node servers as well as with my portal Occupancy node server.  This suggests that this is related more broadly to changes in the 5.0.11 firmware, and not related necessarily to Nodelink. 

Yes I now see the portal Occupancy issue also.

Went back to v.5.0.10 and all ok now

Known issue, 5.0.11 appears to have broken NodeLink and Polyglot.

Is this a problem with SSLv3 being disabled in favor of TLS1.2?

Nope, happens on http.
