HiProof Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 I am logging in the the administration console however can't seem to find the UUID. Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times or more before me. I know, I know another newbie!
Teken Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Help -> About. This same information is presented when you use the ISY Launcher.
Brian H Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 It is also shown in the Help Tab, About choice. In the Administrative Console.
larryllix Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Welcome to the forum HiProof! Make sure you have the latest java installed and you may need to enter the ISY's IP address into the java console firewall to allow it through. It should have asked. What OS are you running?
DennisC Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 What device are you using to access the ISY? That window usually appears when attempting to log in on a device that doesn't have Java installed.
Brian H Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 That is not the Administrative Console screen. I have also seen that when I unsuccessfully tried to use Linux and could not get the Java installed correctly.
Michel Kohanim Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 HiProof, Please follow the instructions here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Installing_the_Admin_Console_Icon_on_Your_Desktop With kind regards, Michel
HiProof Posted August 10, 2018 Author Posted August 10, 2018 Thanks for the help guys, sorry I didn’t respond sooner. I believe the problem I had was Java related. Once I got that handled we were able to sign in without issue.
