ISY994i failed due to Lightning Strike

I am doing some research for my brother who had his ISY994i fail due to a lighting strike close to his home.  I'm retired and have more time than he has knowing that he is wanting to order new equipment as soon as possible.

He is planning on replacing in kind his ISY99i Pro model and PLM by purchasing it from Orchestrated Home.  We both bought our ISY's from them..

My question is this.  Will he be able to recover the modules he previously purchased (Climate and Network) at no cost.

If at no cost, from whom should he recover them.  I noticed on the wiki that the modules can be transferred if replacing an ISY99.  Should he contact support@universal-devices.com with subject "Transfer Modules" with the UUID's for both units.

Thanks for any direction you can give.

I would contact UDI and explain your situation. The extra modules are usually transferrable and some deals have been given out for upgrading from the old 99 to the newer 994 module, as well.
