Recommendations for my non-tech wife

Hi all,

I've an ISY IR-PRO running 5.0.15A handling a significant number of things throughout our home. I've always accessed it though the admin console.

May I ask for recommendations on what others of you have found to be the easiest solution to "enable" a non-technical user to be comfortable controlling things by an android phone or tablet ?

Background My wife would like to be able to turn things on or off and check the status of some scenes both locally and remotely while she is travelling.

Once upon a time I used the Mobilink Connect service but have not done so for several years and in researching this more recently, it seems to have fallen out of favour as she's Android. I  would be happy to change to the ISY Portal if that helps. We're not using Amazon Echo nor Google home at present although  I'm open if that's what people recommend - again, I'm looking for something she can use when not on our LAN.

Cost isn't an issue - making something easy to use for a non-techie wife is my goal, preferably without a lot of effort on my side although the latter's optional.

In case useful to know, from my experimenting over the years this particular ISY has

A10/X10 Experimental Support

Open Auto Demand/Response Module

Thank you for any assistance, Cheers, Peter

As mentioned it seems Agave is popular for Android currently.  The new Mobilinc X works with Android if you already pay for the Mobilinc Connect subscription then it may make sense.

I'm currently testing/evaluating eKeyPad Pro.  My use case is different as I plan to use it for installs but I also will use it at home and for my wife as well.  eK Pro only runs on iOS though so it does not meet your requirements there.  However it meets the requirements of having a simple, straightforward user interface and allows me to configure and lock the interface to prevent inadvertent changes.

Thumbs up for Agave here as well.  Although my phone is an iPhone, I use Agave on my Amazon HD Fire when outside by the pool.
