Yale Z-Wave Connectivity Challenges

Hi ISY Friends,

I installed a Yale YRD256-ZW2 (Z-wave) deadbolt in August.  My ISY is in my basement and the range didn't work for this particular deadbolt.  I had to move the ISY right next to the deadbolt in order to get it added to the ISY.

I bought a couple of: Aeotec Range Extender 6's off of Amazon and added them to my home and the deadbolt worked great for about a month.  Now I seem to keep loosing connectivity.  I tried removing the lock from the ISY and adding it back in yesterday but it seems to be inconsistent even though I have one of these Z-wave repeaters right next to the lock.

I am still somewhat new to Z-Wave.  I have another Kiwikset Z-Wave Deadbolt and it has no issues at all.

Any ideas on what else I should do?

Running 5.0.15 A

Z-Wave 6.81.00

May simply need a stronger mesh. Yale works great with the isy (I have a few).

Being rf only, different things can interfere with the zwave signal. I'd remove the lock, bring it closer to the isy, heal the network, and test for a few days to make sure the 2 can talk. If you have no issues, then you need more devices

Thanks for the feedback.  I got it working again.  I factory reset the deadbolt, brought the ISY close to the deadbolt and re-added it just fine.  After that I ran a heal.  I then moved the ISY back to it's original spot and ran a heal again.  Now it's working.
