SCE to Discontinue Home Area Network Service

As a home owner, any options "if your device gets disconnected from the meter" to keep the data flowing to the ISY?

We have already contacted SCE to check the alternatives. Currently, the only option I am aware of is Green Button which is delayed by 24 hours. So, not real time.
