How do I upgrade my firmware on an ISY994i?

Got to help then about on the file menu to check your firmware version. You upgrade via the help menu, there is an item to manually upgrade firmware.

Be sure to follow all of the directions in the post on upgrading firmware.

@DennisC has the direct answer to the exact question that you asked.

However as @asbril points out, there is more than one version to check at this point.  Specifically anyone can upgrade to 5.0.16C, and that is the most stable of the 5.0.x releases.  No one should upgrade to 5.1 at this point in time.  Making the jump to 5.2 has another dependency and that is the revision of the Z-WAVE dongle inside your ISY (if you have one, and if you use Z-wave).   If you utilize z-wave verify your compatible Z-wave wise before making the jump to 5.2, you can however make the jump to 5.0.16C irregardless of the Z-wave dongle.

@MrBillis right. Unless you have Zwave 500 dongle and have some Zwave experience, in case there are some small issues (I had none), leave 5.2 for the time being and go to 5.0.16. AND as @MrBill also said, do not go to 5.1
