pmoeller Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Have a ISY994I, replaced 2 devices, a 2477D and a 2334-232. The LEDs respond to commands, but the light will not turn on. They are in a scene and acting as a 2-way switch. I have worked on this problem for 6 hours but have found no solution. Anybody see an answer?

MrBill Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Have you tried factory resetting both devices? Even new they may have garbage in memory. Does the light turn on manually from whichever of the two has the red wire connected to it?
pmoeller Posted July 5, 2021 Author Posted July 5, 2021 Reset them both to controllers. pmoeller Posted July 5, 2021 Author Posted July 5, 2021 Hi Bill When I added the devices I had the system erase the links. Is that enough? Light does not turn on manually. The LEDs functon, just no light.
ronvond Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 By default, at least on my system, the default ramp rate for the devices is set to 9 minutes. Please check to make sure that is not your problem. Good luck, Ron

If the lights aren't turning on at all, the switch is bad, you have it wired incorrectly or the scene is setup incorrectly. 1

The wires ore on the same way as before(I hope). Scene only has two devices in it, both set as controllers. One device is a dimmer and the other is a 5 button.

Fix the problem that it won't manually turn on before proceeding with the ISY.

That information is in there. You can pull up the manual for the switch. It gives step by step instructions for what the wires stand for and where they go. Not trying to offend you but if it's hard to understand (wiring isn't for everyone), I would recommend getting an electrician. You can find the manuals on the product webpage under the manuals tab. https://www.smarthome.com/products/switchlinc-dimmer-insteon-2477d-remote-control-dimmer-dual-band-white Edited July 5, 2021 by lilyoyo1
