Have a ISY994I, replaced 2 devices, a 2477D and a 2334-232.  The LEDs respond to commands, but the light will not turn on.  They are in a scene and acting as a 2-way switch.  I have worked on this problem for 6 hours but have found no  solution.  Anybody see an answer?

Do you have them both set as controllers in the scene?

Have you tried factory resetting both devices?  Even new they may have garbage in memory.   Does the light turn on manually from whichever of the two has the red wire connected to it?

Reset them both to controllers.  Same problem

Hi Bill

When I added the devices I had the system erase the links.  Is that enough?  Light does not turn on manually.  The LEDs functon, just no light.

By default, at least on my system, the default ramp rate for the devices is set to 9 minutes.  Please check to make sure that is not your problem.

Good luck,

Ron

Does the switch wired to the light turn on when manually controlled?

If the lights aren't turning on at all, the switch is bad, you have it wired incorrectly or the scene is setup incorrectly.

No it doesn't.  It's a new switch, but I will try another new switch.  The wires ore on the same way as before(I hope).   Scene only has two devices in it, both set as controllers.  One device is a dimmer and the other is a 5 button.

it's either wired wrong or the switch is bad.  Fix the problem that it won't manually turn on before proceeding with the ISY.

Thank you I'll work on that.  It's been a long time since I replaced any of these devices.

Which gets the hot wire from the box, Red or Black?

Did you even read the guide that comes with the switch? That information is in there. You can pull up the manual for the switch. It gives step by step instructions for what the wires stand for and where they go. Not trying to offend you but if it's hard to understand (wiring isn't for everyone), I would recommend getting an electrician. You can find the manuals on the product webpage under the manuals tab.
