Is it possible to use 944i pro backup and restore that to Polisy?  Avoid having to start from scratch on new Polisy.

I did but it was s lot more work for a week to debug all the errors.

Wait or start over.

Not yet, but it's coming shortly.  Maybe this week?

Has this migration utility been released?

Not yet, but in an unrelated post a couple of days ago, @Michel Kohanim gave us this:

Last night, my house became the guinea pig for our ISY994 to Polisy migration/backup/restore.
First of all, migration went absolutely perfectly. All INSTEON <profanity> was migrated
properly with all the databases, programs, configurations, network resources, etc. (not Z-Wave yet).

I'm waiting for Z-Wave and a couple more nodeservers to get ported to PG3 before I migrate (though I could always keep Polyglot 2 running).  I'm not certain about the Alexa/Google Home routines, but apparently @bmercier has done some work on a migration utility for those as well.  Indications are that it's close...

here is Michel's entire post, while the nuts and bolts were quoted above, the entire post is much more riveting:

I tried doing a backup and restore from my ISY994i to my Polisy.  It appears that the configurations have moved over as all of the devices and programs seem to be listed, but I am not able to restore the configuration to a different PLM and can not communicate with any of the devices.  The PLM restore gets to the same point every time and fails.

The error I see is:

Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Best I can tell, the restore routine dies when looking for a file that doesn't exist in the backup from my ISY.  I could not find FF0108.REC in the zip file from my backup.

The first error is: Failed resetting the PLM. This means that either polisy cannot communicate with the PLM or the PLM is unplugged or, worst case, dead.

Thanks - reseating the USB cable did the trick.
