Unable to delete scene

I have an old ISY scene (created prior to v5.3.4, which I am running now) that I cannot delete using Java on Windows 11. The scene has no devices. I was able to rename it to Deleteme but the Delete Scene option on the right click menu produces a confirmation dialog and then "Request Failed". There is nothing showing in the error log. Suggestions welcome.

@landolfi confirm that your user interface and firmware match (admin console -> menu -> about). Are they both 5.3.4?

Should see something similar to this:

I don't think it matters, but is the scene in a folder? Move it out of the folder if it is and try it.

Do you have the "Pro" module? If not, do you have a lot of nodes and scenes? You could be at the max 255 and it's not allowing adjustment. That's rare, but possible.

If the UI/FW don't match make sure you're using the ISY Launcher to open admin console to assure that UI/FW match. Make sure you clear Java cache (selecting all three options to clear), remove any old admin.jnlp or start.jnlp files you might have downloaded recently, then run the new file launcher (start.jnlp) file downloaded from above link.

(wiki info for ISY Launcher)

Confirm you have the latest Java downloaded from - https://java.com/en/  (Ver 8 update 321)

If UI/FW match, and you have the PRO module/add-on I would suggest starting a support ticket with Universal Devices for specific help to your issue. I've not run Win11 yet to know if there's something strange going on with Win11 and Java.

Thanks, all. I'll open a ticket I guess. UI and firmware are both 5.3.4 with the same date/timestamp. It is not in a folder and if I try to move it to one, it does nothing. Java is v8 update 321. The scene only appears on the ISY, not in UD Mobile.

The original name of the scene wasn't "Auto DR" was it?

Yep, sure enough, that's what ISY support asked.

But it seems to me that it's a little kludgy that ISY gives me the option to delete it but doesn't handle it gracefully.

It is not removable. Not sure why but it is the basis of some commercial systems apparently, related to TOU (time of use) metering and energy conservation.
