Curious, I have an Eden bluetooth water timer where i can set frequency, time to water etc using an app on ios. How would one go about  integrating this in Polisy? How would one create a Node server for this. Of course what i would want to do is combine with my ambient weather station to turn off watering when rains x amount in a week.

Just curious but would pay for the Node server if anyone so inclined.

A developer would need to have an API for it to develop a Node server for it. Due to time and effort, they most likely would want a public API so they don't need to  constantly fight to keep up with the mfg making changes that breaks the Node server.

The more information you provide (such as getting the API) the greater the chance someone may make one. Popular demand helps as well. While you may be willing to pay for it, they probably would want more people willing to pay to make it worth the investment.
