SSchmidt Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 Can the Polisy be wall mounted? Where can I buy an extra Polisy power supply? Thank you, Steve
Michel Kohanim Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Hi @SSchmidt, Unfortunately. You can use any 12V 2A power supply. You can also purchase from us: https://www.universal-devices.com/product/12v-1a-power-supply/ With kind regards, Michel

While it can't be wall mounted as is there was a thread not to long ago talking about a 3D printed mounting bracket...see here... Based on the reply above from @Michel Kohanim it looks like the Polisy and ISY994 can use similar power supplies. There has been a lot of other posts about the specifics of the ISY994 power supply. From the wiki there is this about the power supply: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Front_Panel_LEDs.2FLights Quote You can try any power supply that outputs anywhere between 5 volt and 30 volts, center positive, 2mm barrel connector

While the ISY994 accepts a wide variety of voltages, is that also true of Polisy?

I might be having a power supply issue and I wonder if I can just try the ISY power supply I already have. It is only 5 volts and 0.5 amps but the Polisy has a 12V one with 2.0 amps.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 @btreinders, No, polisy require 12V. So does eisy. With kind regards, Michel
btreinders Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 (edited) @Michel KohanimISY does not require 12V. I ran it on that 5V for years. I thought it was the original but maybe it was not but it's definitely 5V only and it ran the ISY. Edited September 16, 2022 by btreinders
Michel Kohanim Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 @btreinders, the answer is for Polisy and not ISY. ISY supports 5-30v. With kind regards, Michel

Michel Kohanim Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 eisy is replacement for Polisy. With kind regards, Michel
btreinders Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Wow, not happy I just bought the Polisy late last year if it's already obsolete then.
oskrypuch Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 I just bought one two months ago, still in the box. It was meant to be a spare for my current operational Polisy. * Orest
