How long should a restore take from backup?

Hi,

Attempting to restore my polisy from backup and the log shows the restore starts but nothing happens. I've let it go a couple hours, still nothing.

The backup itself is only 45 kb.

 

MY polisy system is smaller now but it previously was larger, about 300 Program ad 400 variables. It would take about 2-3 minute to backup and IIRC about the same to Restore it.

Any pointers on what I could do doing wrong with my restore? Just using the web interface to restore. I had no where near what you cited from your system.

No idea. Have you checked your firewall settings to see if access is permitted of that file? I have to assume that is OK as writing files is usually more sacred than reading them.

I think you should open a support ticket with UDI. I would be sure Michel would like to see this first hand.

BTW: Saturday is not usually a good day for support from Michel. Sunday usually is though.

    Posting here as I have a similar question as it relates to the Polisy restore process.   I'm finally getting around to migrating to the Polisy but have not installed the Zwave/Matter upgrade kit yet.  My question is should I install it before or after restoring the config to Polisy?  I assume the kit should be installed prior restoring the config but wanted to confirm.

    If you are upgrading from an ISY994 to Polisy with Zmatter, no you should not install the dongle first.

    Instead, flow these directions:
