UDI store

It appears as though UDI doesn’t know that people outside of the USA use their devices. While trying to make a purchase on their store’s website it doesn’t allow purchases from other countries, only options are USA and Puerto Rico.!!!

Isn't this dependent on frequencies and power?

Not entirely. Business politics. Shipping costs and exclusive rights to sales in some areas..

Yes it does make a difference. Other parts of the world have different approved frequencies that the device has to use. That sometimes did not prevent users with the 915MHz US RF frequency. To go against their countries standard.

Some of the previous owners modules. Could be bought with the correct RF frequency.

Same for the AC power in that location. Not all of the modules have a universal AC supply or input pins to match the standard in that country.

Where are you located?

Try aartech.ca for out of USA purchases.

Shipping will usually be cheaper, and warranty will actually be honoured in a better fashion, based on the old Insteon. Hopefully the new Insteon gets their ship together on some of these points.

My guess is Insteon has created an exclusive dealership with aartech.ca and we will never see Insteon shipping directly to Canada again.

Hmm.  I'm located in Canada and I've had no issues buying from the UD store.  Shipping costs can be stupid high, so I always check Aartech first.

UD does not sell Insteon devices.

Seems like the topic of this thread was the UD store, not insteon... but the thread went off topic..

I bought both my eisy and Zmatter from AArtech. Great service and free quick shipping for orders over $100
