Admin Console

When using the admin console (windows 10) what is the secret for large nodes and being able to see all their attributes and commands at the bottom of the screen?  See screen shot, there are attributes at the bottom of the screen (out of view) yet there is no vertical scroll bar on the right of the screen to allow me to scroll down and see them.  What am I missing?

Do you have room to enlarge the admin console window. If not, then under FILES | THEMES, there's an option to adjust the font size. By reducing the font you might be able to fit everything in the main window

It’s fully enlarged and smallest font (12).

Are you using an ISY994 or ?

What's your firmware and UI version

You also might want to contact the developer of the node server.

994 and 5.3.4

Not sure how a node server affects core IOX functionality.

The only solution I've found is to reduce the scale in the display settings. Of course that makes everything smaller.

This issue has nothing to do with Node Server. I had reported this issue on Polisy and UD confirmed it as a bug in the admin console.

It was given a low priority status and remains uncorrected.

Unfortunately I am on the lowest scale windows 10 allows me of 100%. Sounds like there is no solution?

thanks all for suggestions and advice.

You can scroll through them on UD Mobile. If the item has a numeric value you could pass it on to a variable to be able to see it. There are ways around this depending on what you are trying to accomplish.

Has anyone heard any movement on this?  I have the same problem and can't get to some PG data because of it.  I have to pull out the phone just to read data.  It is not fun.

I also have similar issue, many Insteon switches with more settings cannot see all the settings using my MacBook Pro screen.

Here is example of a regular size window in Win11 and cannot see everything at bottom, I have to maximize to 1920x1080 screen to be able to see it all... I see no reason why they cannot use multiple rows, there is lots of wasted vertical space not being used.

Sadly this has been a long standing UI issue that many have brought up through the years and nothing has been changed. It ranks up there with font size and colors. I (personally) doubt this is high on the list of correcting at this point with the focus on continued development of eisy/Polisy, PG3x, and ZMatter.

Certainly the only way to get more attention to the issue(s) is to submit support tickets, but based on how long comments of UI "bugs" have been in the forums I wouldn't expect any large changes anytime soon. (Try a Google Site Search for font size or color hard to read)

I reported this again when I migrated to eisy.

I have been assured that it will be addressed by the addition of a scroll bar, but no time line was given.

Maybe if enough people open a support ticket.........
