Can't get a connection between Meteobridge and WeatherPoly on Polisy

I have been using Meteobridge to send data to my ISPY on Polisy for quite some time. Unfortunately the Meteobridge Node Server stopped working and disappeared from the Node Server Store.

I've paid for and installed WeatherPoly as an alternative.  I have read the instructions on the Node and the GitHub configuration information but just can't seem to get a connection between the Meteobridge and WeatherPoly on Polisy.

The config info calls for entering the port info into WeatherPoly, but there is no preconfigured field for this info, only long and short poll fields. Unless this represents a problem, then it appears I have to create a custom configured field "port" for this info. I do understand that I will have to create custom configuration fields for the actual Meteobridge data, but I've not gotten a connection yet, so have not worked on that.

I created an entry for Home Weather Station - Weather34 in Meteobridge.

My issue is that the configuration strings needed in WeatherPoly and in Meteobridge are not working.

In Meteobridge I have entered this string in the API URL field: http://10.0.0.56:8080/. When saved it shows a "no connection" red x and an error message "Error: Home Weather Station: Authorization failed." This is the URL of the Polisy

In WeatherPoly I created a "port" field and entered 10.0.0.56. I have also tried it with http://10.0.0.56 where 10.0.0.

Thanks

You're close.

Yes, you need to add a custom parameter with the "Port" "key" field and then the value will be the port that you configure in Meteobridge API URL.

If you configure the API URL as "http://10.0.0.56:8045", then you'd set "Port" to 8045

Note, that the IP address in the API URL is the Polisy's IP address.

Note2, notice I didn't use port 8080, port 8080 is already in use by the IoX running on the Polisy so you can't use that.  When you configured the API URL with that, Meteobridge was trying to send the data to the IoX which rejected it.

Note3, I believe the key name is case sensitive so "Port", not "port".
