PG2 still offered in Admin Console?

Featured Replies

Updated to PG3x from PG2 and PG3 on my Polisy Pro.

Cleared java cache, redownloaded fresh jnlp.

Start admin console and am offered option to goto/logon PG2 and PG3x.

I thought PG2 was removed when migrating to PG3x.   Clicking on PG2 option goes nowhere.

Suggestions?

If I recall correctly, in a few days it will disappear. You might need to upgrade packages first. As long as you have access to PG3x, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply.

More info:

My upgrade to PG3x was November 13

Several package updates has been successfully completed since then.

- Yah PG2 still being offered

Probably just cosmetic

It very well could be. I don't have a Polisy to test on, but maybe delete your ud*.state files (referenced in the wiki) as an extra step from what you've done of clearly Java cache and getting a new IoX Launcher download. Not 100% sure this would help, but a .state files is related to "finder" so maybe that's keeping options that were available at one point.

As @DennisC says, if it's working as expected then ignore PG2 option.

Discussed back in August 2023.
