Every time I start Administrative Console, the dialog for System Busy continually shows running and never stops.  Snapshot attached.     What is causing this and how to stop?

Try opening up the Tools / Diagnostics / Event Viewer .. then change the level to 3. Device communication events. Takle a look at what is going on.. Its there a switch that is stuck communicating with the ISY? Is there a program that seems to be in. a loop. ?

Also, click on programs, Summary and see if you have a program(s) that are running in a loop for some reason. 

 

Recently I had a switch go "bad" and was bombarding the isy with signals and causing the isy to ultimately crash.. I air gapped the switch and then let the isy settle down.. it took it about an hour to clear itself up from all the bad messages from the switch. 

 

As the previous post mentioned it's likely a device communication problem.

In my case, I isolated the problem to the Matter USB dongle extension hub.  Bought a new one with a shorter 6" cable and changed the USB port as well, it went away.

 

everything just resolved itself...not sure why this was happening for a couple of days but all is working now
